I thought this space would be a gorgeous place for an afternoon walk, but alas, the walk was interrupted by a couple fighting over a meth deal - seriously! I though that was an anonomly, but then we were approached by another couple trying to sell us a Kohl's gift card for $10 - real value $31! This is probably... More

This is a nice park with a multiple playgrounds and a water park. Nice paths to connect the parks. Currently there is construction on the bridge so there is parking spaces taken up by construction equipment. The road is also affected by the construction. Still a nice park that the kids love to play at. You can also sit and... More

Louisville Waterfront Park is a 85 acre waterfront park and recreation center for downtown and the region. It offers a beautiful view of the river, space for concerts and festivals, quiet places to read a book, picnic spaces and the perfect place for a walk. In 1962, the Belle of Louisville, a restored steamboat, was purchased and is a public... More

We visited while in town for two days. Kids loved the park and fountains so much, we visited both days. Very family friendly; playground equipment for preschool and middle school age children. Bring a change of clothes and towels, as the kids will get soaked! Appreciated the snack trailer and bicycle rentals.

Waterfront park is very well maintained and a beautiful place to host large events. It's also great for families to picnic and there is a fountain that children can play in. Overall great place for families to get out of the house and enjoy each other.

Went to the park on a sunny late June weekdays and was pleasantly surprised. There were beautiful well groomed walkways with numerous playgrounds, "porch" style swings with views for two throughout. Some serious construction underway in the middle that was a brief disruption and than the best part appeared - the fountain/water park for kids at the base of a... More

While my husband and I stayed 3 days in Louisville, we had a chance to visit this place. Just simply it a wonderful and peaceful place. We just walked around and enjoyed the peace and tranquility after a very busy day.

We went to the park for a summer concert with three kids and it was so much fun! An array of food and drink options with great access to the concert and fun to walk across the bridge before we settled into our concert viewing spot. We've also been to the splash pad playground there and it is also fun!
