Did you know that Louisville Stoneware has been in business for over 200 years? Non-stop? :) Wow! We met Patricia today and I have to say, she was one of the best all-around people and tour guides we have ever met. Along the tour, she introduced us to many artisans, all of who we got to meet. They stopped and... More

I had read on Tripadvisor about the tour of this facility and I'm really glad that I took it. My tour guide was Cathy and it was obvious that she has a love of this place and the crafts created here. Cathy was very knowledgeable about the construction of stoneware and the local history as well. There are items for... More

Didn't have what I was looking for! Got grandson a bowl when he was younger with his name on it . Wanted to get a bigger one now he's older , but wasn't available in a bigger size! Decided to get a plate with his name . Was over priced for the size. That will be all I buy from... More

Very interesting factory tour, wonderful gift shop and very nice small museum. We painted a piece of green wear to be shipped to us later. Would have liked a little more guidance with the painting process. Staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable.

I bought a groupon deal, went on a tour and painted stoneware. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The selection to paint stoneware is limited but you can upgrade at an extra cost to paint something else.

It cost $8/ person for 20 minutes lousy tour. We went at 1:30pm tour on the 25th June. On the website it didn't mention anything about the cost of the tour. We walked through hot dirty work place. Our tour guide Kayla was nice, but she couldn't tell us much about the place because there was nothing much to say.... More

We took a tour and painted stoneware at the Louisville Stoneware site as a Girl Scout activity. Steve was an excellent tour guide. My two daughters really enjoyed learning about the process and painting their own pottery. It will be shipped home to us at a later date-something they are really looking forward to. We will be making this a... More

My wife and I took our visiting Nashville friends to Louisville Stoneware, and they loved it. We also discovered how much Stoneware's recent remodeling added to one of Louisville's oldest continuous businesses. The place is filled with historical exhibits and a mini-museum, in addition to all of the well-crafted stoneware that is available for purchase. Staff is friendly and helpful.... More

Hi again, it's the travelin' agents from Consumers Travel World. Very old factory on a side street. They should put up signs indicating that there is a large parking lot on premises. Not knowing that, we parked up the block. A lovely young lady gave us a brief and informative tour where we got to see stoneware from the clay... More

First off, a word of caution: if you're using a GPS to find this place, you're going to feel like it let you down. Right before you're tempted to turn around (and that would be about the time you make a couple sharp turns and go under a bridge), press on! Louisville Stoneware is tucked away on an industrial type... More
