Our family came here while in town for the state fair. My son is almost 2, and he enjoyed many of the exhibits. A little crazy for lunch at one of the cafes with employees that possibly were new (or untrained) but overall an enjoyable zoo

We all love the Louisville Zoo. The price was not bad, and it was very clean. The staff was great and they were so friendly. My little boy really liked the train ride and the price was reasonable. They have several animals and awesome exhibits. Will definitely be going back. So much better than Nashville zoo.

This is another attraction we have had a family membership for the last 20 years. For a $100. [+ or -] depending on whether it is a family or single membership, and whether you wish to include train - tram and carousel passes, you can access a real treasure of an attraction that is open year round. It even boasts,... More

Loved that we could take our time reading about the animals. Not a huge zoo, but I actually liked the "personality" so much more! The animals seem comfortable and well cared for and every staff member I met was very helpful. We didn't know we could take food in with us but what we ate in the park and found... More

The zoo has a large area that takes around 2 hours or so to make it completely around. It has several inside building such as herp aquarium and islands area (penquins, bats). There are large sections for elephants and giraffes, etc. There are two separate playgrounds. They also have a splash park and a really cool (and large) area for... More

I really liked a lot of the venues they setup as you explored the park - not only was it for decoration, but it gave you information so you could learned along the way. Go early and head to the lion's area so when they let the lion out you can hear it welcoming in the morning. Regretted not getting... More

Louisville zoo is a nice zoo, lots of animals to see, not so big that you can't see it all. My 7 year old Grandson had a blast. It was a hot day, but they have misters in the park, a wonderful splash park too. The thrill of the day was seeing the baby gorilla. Just precious. Camel rides are... More

I liked the way you could easily follow the main path around the zoo to see all the animals. The gorillas were my favorite part. Loved how you could get close enough to really see them. Splash park was nice for younger kids.
