    Nice zoo

    I love this zoo. I have been several times. But the penguins are almost always closed for some reason...and that is a disappointment. Loved hearing the lion roar.

    No, I have not done the Pygmy Hippo experience. I think under the right circumstances with the right people it would be an interesting experience.

    There are several nice hotels to choose from. I personally prefer the east end hotels. You may have to drive a little further but I think you will enjoy your stay. I would not choose a downtown hotel. They are older and... More

    yes a few, but mostly outdoors. Check the website for a map and list of animal locations.
