We took a guided walking tour of the neighborhood and we certainly enjoyed seeing the wonderfully restored Victorian houses and hearing about Louisville's history. It is definitely worth a visit, especially if you like Victorian-era history and architecture. Our only complaint was that our tour...More

What a gem of a neighborhood! Several blocks of Victorian homes in lovely condition, with a beautiful fountain square. You may take a walking tour, and/or drive around looking at the homes without blocking traffic. We did both. The Conrad-Caldwell House is at the square.

The homes in the Victorian area of Old Louisville are amazing. We love the architecture, the tree-lined streets and the friendly people we met on them.

The houses are very nice and "Victorian". The streets are lined with tall trees that provided privacy to the houses.

If you love architecture and old buildings this is a stop for you. My favorite is St. James Court. Gas street lamps, beautiful homes and gardens, tree lined streets to stroll down - just awesome. Easy to find - park and take a walk.

We Drove Old Louisville and enjoyed the Victorian homes and saw people picnicking in the grass areas between the street. I really wish we could have picked up a guide or taken a guided tour. It probably would have made the time more interesting but...More
