We had the pleasure of discovering that studio and spending more than one hour simply watching the artisans at work. Chairs are provided in front of glass wall where you can sit and watch them at work. The art involved in this type of creation is pretty amazing. Always interesting to see people at work before visiting their gallery. At... More

This is a very interesting place to shop for handmade glass items in their gift shop and watch from the huge glass windows, artists blowing glass. Depending what time of year you and create/blow your own glass.

Close proximity to downtown. Our family of five stopped in during a rain storm. Signed up to blow an ornament and got a front row tour of the studio. Brook was very knowledgeable and encouraging to our 12 year old art-loving daughter. Spent about 30 minutes looking at the art pieces and watching the artists. Picked up our ornament the... More

Here's the deal. They have kilns there with molten glass. Artistic type people handle the molten glass and turn it into super-cool glass art, and I'm not talking just fancy vases. Brook White is one of the artists who make this place pop. Louisville residents and visitors, it's at the corner of 9th and Market Street. Pop in and watch... More

Not much going on. Guess you have to sign up for classes. The items for sale were quite pricey. More than at at art show

The best thing to do here is to make that special someone an ornament that YOU actually get to make! My son and I made ornaments and our breath is forever sealed in the ornament! Unique and special gifts are available and not all are blown glass, but you still get to created them if you like.
