This was a small bus tour to the Jim Bean bourbon distillery. Not being local, we didn't realize you can drive to these distilleries, walk in and pay for a tour that is occurring that day. Searching the internet gave the impression that you had to be part of an organized tour. So, there are too many distilleries around Louisville to count. You can drive to at least 2 - 4 in one day depending on how hardy you are. The day after the JB tour, we drove ourselves to Makers Mark. Both tours are definitely worth the trip. The driver for our Bourbon Barrel Tour took the guess work out of finding JB. Wish we had him for Makers Mark.
