I visited this park many times growing up in Louisville. Though I always appreciated the long trails, numerous basketball ahs tennis courts, and challenging municipal golf course, I never understood the beauty of this Olmsted designed masterpiece. Looking at this park on Google Earth is deceptive in that it isn't extraordinarily impressive in scale. While hiking the numerous paths or... More

Over 5000 carved pumpkins that are turned in works of art unlike anything I have ever witnesses before. WOW.

Can not express how awesome the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular was at Iroquois Park. We went Nov 1 and there were no crowds. It was absolutely fantastic. There are concessions, bar, bathrooms. This is a must see experience and worth the drive from Nashville, TN. That had to have been more than 5,000 Jack-O-Lanterns. These are works of Art for sure. Great... More

I read about this and decided to come, even though most reviews complained of wait time. I had been told by ppl that live here it was worth it. In went on a Wednesday night about 9 pm and went right in. My friend and I had our picture taken then off to the trail. I was amazed by all... More

The Louisville Jack O' Lantern Spectacular is such a great event! Our group consisted of myself, my husband, our two girls (4 & 8) and my cousin. We all enjoyed it very much. We had our picture taken, the girls got hot apple cider, and my husband and cousin enjoyed a few adult beverages. The pumpkins are absolutely spectacular. They... More

My husband and I visited with our 9 year-old and 12 year-old on Saturday night. The line was looooooooong, with a wait time of nearly an hour and a half. We arrived with pre-purchased tickets a little before opening at 7PM and the line was already stretched over an hour wait! Thankfully, it was a nice evening, not too warm... More

We went to the JOLS and it rocked! The line was VERY long but they had a screen to play cartoons, numerous stops along the way to buy well priced snacks and drinks, picnic tables and live entertainment. The pumpkins are freaking awesome and it was overwhelming in a good way! We are considering making it a yearly tradition.

The line meanders through the amphitheater. We went on a Thursday night and it took an hour and s half. The real pumpkins only last about a week and are constantly being replaced.
