Have you ever wondered just how the story of Peter Pan began, like how he met Tinkerbell, or even how he got the name "Peter Pan" at all? Then join the Actors Theatre of Louisville for a riotous romp through an extraordinary world in this beloved, Tony Award-winning prequel, Peter and the Starcatcher. I do not believe that I have... ATL is one of Louisville's highlights. Many plays to see every year. Intimate theater, not a bad seat in the house.

We just recently saw 4000 Miles- a well acted play with clever, entertaining dialogue about a grandson traveling from Seattle to Manhattan to visit his grandmother. This is one of many fine productions Actors has produced over the years. The New Play Festival draws critics and audiences from all over the nation and maybe more. Some have even made it... More

Attended a familiarization trip to the theatre. Great tour, beautiful facility. They offered us complimentary tickets to see a play during our stay and we took them up on the offer. Saw 4000 steps - LOVED it!!!! Highly recommend!

We recently saw Dracula, then just saw A Christmas Carol. Great actors, terrific shows! I really love the smaller theaters!

I have been to several theaters across the country and this is one of my favorite for many reasons: the staff are extremely passionate, helpful, and accommodating. The plays I've seen there are amazing, such as Romeo and Juliet & Dracula. Their round theater in which Dracula is held in has been my most favorite stage to date. It's intimate... More

Actor's a Theatre of Louisville is an amazing theatre!! Jon Jory built a Theatre that rivals or exceeds any in the country!! Comfortable seating puts the experience over the top. The Humana Festival of New American Plays offers a venue for playwrights from around the world to get their new plays performed. This is unheard of! This daring move by... More

We just visited Actors Theatre again on Saturday for the Boiled Peanut Hour, hosted by chef Edward Lee and the Lee brothers of Charleston. There was a demonstration of nouveau Southern cuisine, delivered with a healthy dose of humor. Of course there was a buffet featuring said items afterward-- which was excellent. I am not sure which was better...the show... More

Been here many times and always have a great experience. The restaurant was nice too. Parking is a snap if you take advantage of the attached public parking garage.
