Neat place to tour. They are very welcoming and the grounds are very well kept. A little hard to find if you're just following GPS, but not impossible. The tour includes tasting if your'e 21+, definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Maker's Mark was the first distillery we hit on the tour and by far the most traditional. We learned a lot about the history of the Maker's Mark brand, the distilling process, and their current products. We particularly enjoyed the tasting, which began with a non-bottled (just out of the still) white whiskey, standard Maker's Mark, and two specialty products.... More

The pride of the Bourbon Trail. This property is secluded and worth the drive. It is pristinely kept and impressive. The tour is very informative even if you are not a bourbon fan. There is a nice tasting at the end of the tour as well as an upscale gift shop. You will enjoy it. So glad we went.

Just as we were walking into the front of the visitor center, we noticed that the tour had just started and people were walking out from the back of the visitors center. Due to time issues, and the fact that we had already done several other distillery tours already, we decided not to wait for the next tour. We walked... More

A little hard to find, Garmin and Mapquest don't know about the new road built just for Maker's Mark. So worth the trip! Start your tour in the historical home and continue around a park like setting. The history is informative and amazing. By far my favorite distillery on the Bourbon Trail. Don't miss hand dipping your own bottle!

I drove from Nashville to see this and was not disappointed. Upon arriving I was put on a tour within 10 minutes. The grounds are amazing. Tour guide was really informative. Gift shop has heaps of options including dipping your own bottle. I'm pleased to of made the trip up. Big thumbs up all the way from Australia.

We stopped in here since the word was that this was the best distillery to visit and we were short on time. The tour did not disappoint and the guide Lee was extremely knowledgeable and informative. Recommend this tour even at $9 per person. Note....be careful at the gift shop....their bottles are priced high so we stopped at a liquor... More

The tour was very interesting, particularly the tasting afterwards. Be sure to do your own hand dipped bottles in the gift shop, a good memory to take home.

I was in awe of this distillery's beauty. The country is is gorgeous. All the buildings are uniformed with dark siding and bright red shutters. Beautiful atmosphere. Our tour guide was Ryan. He was an excellent guide. Thank you Ryan! The tasting is in a neat room in the middle of the barrel house. Very good whiskey. And it was... More

We arrived early and were part of the second tour of the day. Our tour guide, Julio was quite knowledgeable and engaging; but I want his job. An enjoyable tasting followed by opportunity to dip our three bottles in wax. Since we are Makers Mark Ambassadors they printed a special label with our names and provided a bottle from our... More
