Whether you drink whiskey or not this tour will curl your hair. It's a bit of a walk with a large hill but it's very informative. For $7.00 you can see and feel how they make this stuff. You can even taste some of the finished product in their tasting room. And if you are wealthy you can spend it... More

Beautiful grounds. Vincent was a great tour guide. He knew so much. It was great learning about the behind the scenes and the history of Maker's Mark. At the end of our tour, we were able to purchase a bottle and dip it in the wax. Great souvenir. When we were done, we strolled the grounds and got some great... More

We took this tour on a hot July weekend. Maker's Mark is a popular destination on the bourbon trail, and they have this down to a science. My husband and I took the tour with another couple. We booked the standard tour ahead of time. I am sure these tours book up early on weekends. The nice thing about booking... More

This was on of the better tours offered by distilleries so don't skip it. The staff was friendly and the grounds are beautiful. Great history with this brand. At the end of the tour of you buy a bottle you get to dip it yourself. The only problem is now I don't want to open it.

The tour and tasting were outstanding. It was one of the best I have ever been on. The guide Ben was very knowledgeable and really like able. The gift shop was outstanding as well.

My wife and I wanted to experience some of the Bourbon Trail on our way to Louisville. Visiting Maker's Mark was both fun and educational. The tour was great, sampling their bourbons was special and dipping the bottle of bourbon I purchased in red wax was 😉. I highly recommend you find your way to Maker's Mark when visiting Kentucky.

My husband took the distillery tour while I walked the dogs around the beautiful grounds. Hard to find a prettier working distillery! Hubby says the tour was interesting - I can vouch that the experience of hand dipping our bourbon in the wax was fantastic!

Disclaimer - Maker's Mark is my favorite Bourbon so I was more than psyched to get to this distillery. It's busy, although we pre-purchased tickets, I feel like we had to wait about 45 minutes before we could start. We arrived around 1 PM so it was in the middle of the day. Maybe get there early. I don't remember... More

Everyone at the distillery made us feel welcome and the tour was informative and fun. At the end of the tour there is a bourbon tasting and bourbon balls!
