We are a private tour company that offers bourbon tours, horse farm tours and other custom tours to showcase the best of Central Kentucky. We are located in Mercer County, Kentucky and often partner with local hotels in Lexington and Central Kentucky to offer tours to their guests. We offer pick locations in Lexington Ky and Harrodsburg as well as custom tour pick up locations.

Me and a friend of mine took a girls trip to Lexington to drink Bourbon and we were so pleased with out Central Kentucky Tour. The only tour available to us, because of COVID, was a private tour which was not cheap but made us feel way more safe - well worth the money. Our driver Jeff was The Best! He know so much history of the area, he made sure we were able to purchase bourbons from the distilleries if we wanted, even on an itinerary - Buffalo Trace was the hardest so he had gotten in line for us while we were still at our tasting - SO APPRECIATIVE. If you are going to The Bourbon Trail, we highly recommend Central Kentucky Tours and we also recommend you request Jeff!

We had a great time on our tour. Booking the tour was a little tricky as it was a busy weekend when we went. In the end we were happy with our distillery selections. Booking and leading up to the tour I was in contact with the booking person via email. He was very responsive to all emails I sent which I really appreciated. Our tour guide was Joel. He was wonderful. The first part of our tour was tight on time and he was a trouper keeping us on track. He also made some wonderful recommendations and was able to tell us about the area.

The booking experience was very easy - traded a few emails with Bruce and came up with the customized itinerary we were looking for. Also, the cost was competitive with larger tours. Bruce emailed me a few days before arriving to confirm the details Pick up was on time and the day was well planned - every distillery we visited was ready for us to arrive. Joel even helped plan lunch and get us snack/drinks for the drive. I would recommend Central Kentucky Tours and would look to hire them again for a Bourbon trip.

Tour vehicle was a super clean and spacious large van/mini bus. Guide was Bruce. Great personality; very informative. Not just about distilleries, but the whole region in general. And he spoke just the perfect amount. Never interrupted personal conversations, but always could volunteer just the right amount of info at just the right time if our topic of conversation was in his wheelhouse. Couldn't recommend more!

CKT was a total delight! They were great to work with and set up a great day of distillery touring and tasting for our group of 10. Bus driver/guide was fun and informative. Highly recommend them for the price, quality of the bus, tour selections, but mostly for Bruce and Jeff who took crazy good care of us!

Very prompt and organized. Joel was our driver and he was very knowledgeable and friendly and he was able to help us get lunch reservations at Bardstown kitchen and recommended Jim Bean restaurant on the next day of our trip. I would give you 10 stars if I could and will definitely recommend you to our friends.

We could not have asked for a better experience! We booked our trip with Central Kentucky Tours and they took care of setting up every distillery tour for us. Our driver, Carey was awesome and very enjoyable to talk with throughout the entire day. He was very knowledgable on each distillery that we visited and the history of Kentucky as well. I highly recommend using Central Kentucky Tours for anyone looking to book a Bourbon Tour!

Central Kentucky Tours worked with our group to design a custom tour and executed it flawlessly. Our guide, Carey, was on time, knowledgeable, friendly, and a good driver. We visited a number of distilleries and a horse farm, with transportation to and from our lodging in Louisville. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience with Central Kentucky Tours for my first trip to Kentucky. I called Bruce with a request for a small group of friends (admittedly, sort of last minute). I arranged our itinerary/bourbon stops and Bruce provided input on the schedule. And even when I had to make changes, the team was flexible to make sure our experience was great. On the day of, our drive (Jeff) was on time (early!), pleasant and down to earth. He was never far behind on our tour, helping guide us to the next place, keeping us on time/on track and he had a great personality to keep the drive time fun for the ladies. Very much appreciate this team's effort to create a great Kentucky experience!

As novices to the Bourbon Trail, but not of Bourbon, our group of nine guys found Central Kentucky Tours to be the perfect mix of flexibility, humor, service and knowledge of the trail. Jeff, our guide had just enough jokes to keep us entertained between stops, plenty of knowledge of the industry and great time management! We threw him a couple curveballs and he took it in stride and didn’t make us feel he was put out. Jeff even squeezed in an extra quick stop we didn’t ask for. Bruce was excellent with the communication as well. We will be returning to the trail and we will be using Central Kentucky tours again. No need to try anyone else.
