This is where the revolution started. The grounds in Lexington are beautiful. The Visitor’s Center has a great museum and show that helps the children understand the impact and importance of the location. It is a must see when in Boston.

In planning a Lexington trip and calling the Lexington Tourism office I spoke with a lady named Francis. She instantly displayed genuine interest and kindness regarding our requests to find some Tour Guides for the Lexington/Blue Grass/Horse Country area....More
While limited in space the visitors center is entertaining and educational as an orientation to Lexington and Kentucky. The folks were very helpful in getting us on the path to visiting the Lexington area.
Moved since our last visit but so easy to find...just follow the blue hoof prints! Picked up some useful bits and bobs , not least a nice little walking guide for an enjoyable trundle around parts of the city we didn’t know existed

I would contact the Visitors Center directly. I'm sure this is not the first time this question has been asked. I would imaging they can give you the names of some very capable kennels in the area that would be delighted to entertain your canine companion for a small fee. Good luck and good traveling!
