We decided on a whim to take the 2 hour drive to this mall. We are so glad we did. Lots of different stores and some unique ones as well such as BoxLunch. We enjoyed ourselves and plan to return many more times. This mall offers something for everyone.

I like going to the Fayette Mall, they have a lot of really good stores. My kids love to play in the play place and they like to eat in the food court.
I like going to the different stores shopping. I also like the vendors that are in located through out the corridors of the fayette mall. I usually go through the different stores and buy my wife gift cards for Christmas. I generally spend about 600 dollars for gift cards for christmas.
My wife loves the gift cards, she generally carries them over in to the next year. My son like the flying drones that they advertise in the corridor by the play place. My wife and daughter love bath and body works. I generally get her a 150 dollar gift card for this store.
My wife and daughter will come out of this store with bag fulls of lotions and soaps.
They use to have a gyro food place in the food court that my daughter loved. She can sit and eat those gyros all day long. The fayette mall is a great place to come to and sit in one of there comfortable chairs that they have placed in the corridor halls and just relax and enjoy the day while your family shops. Great mall.
same.
If my review helps you in any way can you PLEASE leave me a thumbs up like on my review. Thank you

We were staying at the Embassy suite Lexington green and we saw it on our way in so we decided to check it out. The mall reminds me of Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL. It is a huge mall with three big department store, Dillard's , Macy's and JC penney with Dick's sporting good. It is a huge mall with so many specialty store and food court aside from PF Chang and Cheesecake Factory. You can walk for hours and it has something for every one including kids' playground. It is a busy mall but wish their bathrooms can be clean more and keep up with their large volume of clients. We went there on Black Friday, the bathrooms and the garbage containers that we saw while walking were overflowing to the floor and we didn't see any housekeepers going around. Overall, it is a nice mall.

Bathrooms are disgusting in the mall . Go to one of the restaurants outside of the mall and use there's you will thank me later. The mall is now getting a lot of cheaper knock off stores in to fill in all the vacant spots left by stores leaving to go to the Summit. The mall kiosk employees still don't leave you alone trying to walk through the mall and shop either

Enjoyed rolled ice cream while at the mall. Enjoyed watching them make it also. I enjoyed the match a strawberry, while my friend enjoyed the chocolate graham cracker. They have an assortment of toppings and you can choose 3.

While visiting Lexington we decided to visit this Mall due to not being able to do anything outside because of rain. It is a large Mall with all the major stores. It also has a food court and several name brand restaurants in or near the mall. You can spend a good half day there depending on just how much you want to shop. LOL
It was close to our motel and well worth the drive to take in some shopping while raining.

I enjoyed browsing through this huge mall today (Christmas Eve, December 24, 2017). After an expansion some years ago, it became the largest mall in the state of Kentucky, which it still is as far as I know.

Its stores include numerous clothing stores, several shoe stores, several jewelry stores, and several cell phone stores. There are also stores focused on toys, stores focused on University of Kentucky licensed items, and stores focused on a wide variety of other things. During the Christmas season there are seasonal stores focused on ornaments and other Christmas-related items.

The biggest stores in the mall probably are the three-story Macy's, the three-story Dillards (with a hair and nail salon on the third floor), the two-story J.C. Penney, and the two-story Dick's Sporting Goods store. Escalators made access between the levels reasonable easy with one possible exception--I'm not sure if an escalator goes up to the third floor of Dillards, a part of the store I didn't visit. In addition to escalators, elevators and stairs are available. Other than these four stores, I think the rest of the mall is all on one level.

The mall contains at least 10 fast-food restaurants in its food court, along with a few others that have outdoor entrances that are located in other parts of the mall.

Public restrooms for the mall are located in at least three places, in addition to public restrooms provided by some of the stores. The mall also includes water fountains and vending machines. The vending machines dispense drinks, snacks, gumballs, and temporary tattoos.

The mall has a children's play area. And at several places within the mall there are padded chairs and couches for persons to sit while waiting for others to finish shopping or to rest. Helpful directories that include a map indicating store names and locations are located in a few places in the mall

During my Christmas Eve visit, a booth was offering photos with Santa, and a line of persons were waiting for those.

The mall itself is huge. But, near the mall are some other shopping centers with numerous other stores, restaurants, movie theaters, supermarkets, etc.

Years ago Fayette Mall contained bookstores (a Waldenbooks and a Family Christian Store). Although the mall itself does not contain one now, a huge Joseph-Beth bookstore, a Lifeway Christian Store, and a Half-Price books location are located in other nearby shopping areas.

I think this mall is the best place in Lexington to shop in a wide variety of stores in one area. Personally, I seldom visit the mall since I prefer the lower prices of discount retailers. But this seems to be a great mall.

Years ago when I did a gift exchange with other members of my immediate family, Fayette Mall was often where I came to find gifts. I occasionally shopped here myself for books, clothing, etc. Now, I miss Sears, the bookstores, and some other businesses that are not in the mall now, but it remains a huge mall with lots to see and buy if you have the money and desire to buy it.

If the mall still had a bookstore and prices were a bit lower, I would rate it "excellent" instead of "very good" in my review. Many persons who love shopping a huge variety of stores under one roof would probably give it an "excellent" rating.

I recommend you try to take time to browse through sometime if you are in the Lexington area and haven't already, especially if you're looking for a gift for someone who is hard to shop for. A person who enjoys browsing and shopping could easily devote several hours to shopping here, maybe days. Personally, I browsed through the mall today in about an hour or two.

The mall includes several entrances and a huge parking lot. However, I've heard that on extremely busy days (like the last Saturday before Christmas) sometimes it can be hard to find a parking spot. A sign in the parking lot indicates that they offer valet parking on certain days at certain times.

The mall is located just outside of New Circle Road in Lexington. Its parking lot can be accessed from Nicholasville Road or from Reynolds Road. During rush hours, traffic can be very heavy in the area.

Personally, I rode a city bus to the mall today. Lexington's city bus service, LexTran, has a bus stop in the parking lot of the mall. Two bus shelters are located at the stop that provide some protection against rain, wind, etc.
