We were on a four person tour with Marlene as our guide. She was knowledgeable about horses and the racing experience and we could tell she really loved horses. The outriders at the track rail spent a lot of time talking to us and we...More
If you are intersted in how horses learn to race, this is the place to visit. You get to see a training track and watch the horses being worked out. You can talk to some of the trainers and learn how they manage to turn...More
We were in a small group, so I don't know if that changes the experience, but we loved it. We got to be up close with the horses, pet and feed them. Learning about the process of training and how they are housed is also...More

Is Kentucky Down Under too touristy or worth a visit? 2. Louisville - I've heard the zoo is good....? How is the Louisville Slugger...More

I can only really comment on your Mammoth Cave questions. I've done the New Entrance Tour, which was great. The Frozen Niagara tour includes the formations of the cave, which are also part of the New Entrance Tour. The New Entrance Tour is longer because it includes walks through some large passages so you can get a feel for the immense size of the cave. If your child has never been to a cave, I think I'd go for the Frozen Niagara Tour since it's shorter. If your little one has toured caves...More
