I enjoy this trail annually while here on business, most people are courteous even the lance Armstrong wannabe's! However its has taken me several years to pin down the mapping of this trail especially the area around the hope center just discovered the path continues...More

Tried to ride the trails today, May 6, 2018 while traveling back to Knoxville from Indianapolis. Used traillink.com, which routes you to Google maps for directions to trailhead, which took us to the unmanned security gate of the Univ of Kentucky horse farm. Locked barred...More

I just love this trail. Each time we stay at the Embassy Suites near campus I take a run on this trail. The farm fields are beautiful, and the trail is very nicely maintained.

The Legacy Trail is a dream come true for Lexington. Since my last review, 2 miles have been added to the North End which, unfortunately, just ends in a field at the Kentucky Horse Park in the middle of nowhere. But, there are plans to...More

Perfect trail for biking. It is mainly flat, so it is an easy ride. It's about 20 miles round trip. It's a scenic route--it goes from urban to horse country. Beautiful!

This is a great feature for a town the size of Lexington, and reasonably accessible once you know the starting point, which was not clear on Google maps and not easy for me to find, leaving from West 6th Brewery by bike. More signage to...More

This was a beautiful trail to ride. I being from Indiana must warn you that rolling hills is an understatement. There are some great downhill segments followed by a few rather steep hills. I am an average rider but did get winded on a few...More

This is an excellent outing for biking or running or just getting out and exercising... an 18 mile loop around Lexington, smoothly paved... flat to rolling terrain...a moderate high or two, but nothing awful. I am a novice cyclist and managed to do it a...More

The trail is really nice and well maintained. There are a lot of bikers on the trail at any given time so if you are on foot just be on the lookout so as not to be startled when they come up behind you. It's...More

I only used it twice, but from my recollection, if you are thinking three abreast, I don't think so. Also, toddlers are short enough you are probably not holding hands. On any bike path, you want to hold a toddler's hand... More
