The Explorarium would be great for kids if the exhibits were kept up. Many are broken, missing parts or just generally in need of repair. The TV show and the bubbles exhibit are exceptionally fun. Let's hope a fix up will put this back to a 5 start rating.

My young children loved this museum. There were lots of hands on activities for them to do. Never got bored

The Explorarium is a great idea. There are a lot of interesting exhibits but sadly many are broken or have pieces missings. It is frustrating to children and parents when things are left in this state of disrepair.

This is obviously an older and smaller museum for children. It could definitely use some updates. That being said, it was really entertaining for my 2 year old. She had a great time. I wouldn't think that kids older than 5 would really get a kick out of it.

Great science museum with lots of hands on exibits. Better for children age 4-10. Keep your eyes on them as there is much to be distracted by. A real nightmare when large groups are visiting. They allow 4-5 groups of daycare and school children in at a time in the AM on weekdays.

If this children museum desires to impact young peoples lives and cognitive development they need to work with partners to update rundown exhibits and add new exhibits.

Lots to do and see. There is science, art, cultural experiences for all ages. I love to go with or without my kids...who started going to the Explorium almost 20 years ago :)

We had guest visiting from out of town and thought this would be a great place to take their 7 year old son. Upon our arrival we were never greeted or told to have a good time or given any directions about the Explorium. There were so many of the stations that were not operating properly, the puppets for the... More

Me and my family visited the Explorium in Lexington, KY at Victorian Square in September 2016. I was very disappointed in this visit. This is our 3rd time at this facility. There were many exhibits that did not work. The Bubble Room had no working bubbles, the exhibit at the entrance with the water showing how erosion happens, was almost... More

We took our 2 year old grandson as part of his birthday. He had a great time. Liked milking the cow. The bank vault . The 2-3 year old play area and the bubble room. Other reviews have mentioned the cleanliness but as it could be with the amount of people that visit. Water was clear in river and in... More
