Experience why Kentucky is world famous! Our fun and informative horse farm tours (approximately 3 hours in length) take you through the heart and soul of Kentucky's beautiful blue grass horse country. Drive by, see and hear the history of Calumet horse farm, home of a breeding and racing dynasty that dominated the sport of kings during the 1940s, 1950s and beyond. Step out and enjoy a walking tour of the ivy-covered grounds of historic Keeneland Race Course, home to the planet's most expensive horse auctions. Take a peek at the thoroughbred horse lifestyle as we take you behind the scenes to explore a premier thoroughbred horse farm and visit up close and personal with their famous horses. We'll even see where scenes from the major motion pictures Secretariat, Seabiscuit and Dreamer were filmed.

Joe was our guide. He was awesome! Knowledgeable and enthusiastic! We especially enjoyed touring with only six people in the van. Felt like a private tour. We left the hotel a little early so Joe took us into the city. We probably spent a bit too much time there instead of spending the time among the horses as intended but... More

We booked a morning tour. Comfortable van. About ten on our tour. Exceeded our expectations. Our guide Vicki was fabulous. This gal was a walking encyclopedia of horses, racing, who’s who in the thoroughbred world, and the history of the area. As advertised we visited Keeneland Racetrack and a few different farms. I was surprised, and very happy, we were... More

Our guide was Daniel. We had 11 people in our van and it was very comfortable with great entertainment from Daniel. He provided background on the horse racing industry, farms we visited, horses, and incredible corny jokes (which were really great!). He even stopped at the Kentucky Horse Farm so we could get a feel for it. We were able... More

Our guide was Daniel Wade and he was super. He made the trip fun and very informative. Seeing the beautiful farms and petting the horses was really a treat. I would recommend to anyone visiting the area to take this tour especially if you could have Daniel as your guide.

This tour of the horse country of central Kentucky was the best. The tour of Keeneland was worth the price of the tour by itself. Our tour guide, Danny, was knowledgeable and very friendly. He made the tour so enjoyable we even forgot about the rain that followed us on the tour. When we are in Lexington again, we will... More

We took the afternoon tour on September 3, 2016. Our tour guide, Vickie, was friendly, informative, and very knowledgeable of the horse industry and its history. Thanks for a great afternoon!

Took the morning tour on August 27. We noticed in earlier reviews comments about the outstanding tour guide services provided by a guide named Vicky. We were very pleased when the tour van pulled up at our hotel and it was tour guide Vicky. It was non-stop excellent information on the 3.5 hour tour. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate... Having been a horse owner in the 1980s, and being a lifelong horse lover, Lexington was definitely on my bucket list of places to visit. This tour was the highlight of our trip! Our tour guide Vicki was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable, had a great personality, and her love of horses and Lexington was certainly apparent. We enjoyed the... More

Great tour of Ashford/Coolmore Farm, Kenny McPeek's farm and gravesite of Seattle Slew at Hill & Dale. Seeing American Pharoah, along with the other stallions at the farm, as well as Thunder Gulch was quite a TREAT!!! Thanks to Matt for being a great tour guide. He provided us with much knowledge and a whole lot of information!!!

We booked a van and driver for the day to visit two horse farms and two distilleries. Vicki, was our driver, and a great ambassador for the area. She was so knowledgeable, and knew her farms and history of the region. This is the perfect way to tour and have someone else navigate the back roads and small surrounding towns.... More
