Experience why Kentucky is world famous! Our fun and informative horse farm tours (approximately 3 hours in length) take you through the heart and soul of Kentucky's beautiful blue grass horse country. Drive by, see and hear the history of Calumet horse farm, home of a breeding and racing dynasty that dominated the sport of kings during the 1940s, 1950s and beyond. Step out and enjoy a walking tour of the ivy-covered grounds of historic Keeneland Race Course, home to the planet's most expensive horse auctions. Take a peek at the thoroughbred horse lifestyle as we take you behind the scenes to explore a premier thoroughbred horse farm and visit up close and personal with their famous horses. We'll even see where scenes from the major motion pictures Secretariat, Seabiscuit and Dreamer were filmed.

We booked a van and driver for the day to visit two horse farms and two distilleries. Vicki, was our driver, and a great ambassador for the area. She was so knowledgeable, and knew her farms and history of the region. This is the perfect way to tour and have someone else navigate the back roads and small surrounding towns.... More

My friend and I took the tour and loved it! We visited Keeneland Racetrack, numerous farms, got up close and personal with mares and their foals and former racehorses. Our guide Vicky was a wealth of knowledge and most gracious. She was friendly and allowed us lots of photo opportunities and we just had the best time! Be sure and... More

Whether you know a lot or a little about horses, this is a great opportunity to learn more about thoroughbreds and the horse industry. You see horses and farms. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. We learned a lot and now have a greater understanding of the horse industry on which Lexington depends. One of the highlights was feeding... As a native Kentuckian I left this tour with new knowledge and an even greater appreciation of the thoroughbred heritage in my beloved home state. Nick was an extraordinary tour director, and we were privileged to visit several sites where his professional insight gave new meaning to the thoroughbred industry! The visit to Keeneland was amazing. This is a truly... More

We took this 3 hour tour on the 1st full day we were in Lexington. The driver/guide was very knowledgeable of the horses and the horse industry as she was employed as an assistant horse trainer at a training facility operated by Keeneland Race Course. In addition to the tour of the area in a 16 passenger bus, we stopped... More

Vicky was a wonderful and entertaining tour guide. She has a wealth of knowledge about the thoroughbred racing industry and the Lexington farms. We were fortunate to see some of these amazing animals working out at Keenland Racetrack and Vicky allowed enough time for us to enjoy this experience. It was fun to be able to pet some of the... Joe, our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. He took us to Keenland, and the Old Friends Farm and told us about several other farms as we drove by. The van was very comfortable and he took time to let us get out and take pictures. Would highly recommend this tour and Joe as the our guide.

Wow, Vicky is a very informative and witty guide. We never expected to be able to rub a horse. Learned a great deal about the industry. Highly recommend this tour and Vicky in particular.
