Had a great day with our guide Tom. He was very informative and knew so many interesting local facts about all the farms. We toured Keeneland which was very impressive and had such a rich history. We got to pet multiple horses and tour the...More
Terrible! Our driver was Ernie, who had a soft, monotone voice. Although he had a microphone, it was hard to hear him in the fourth row back and became worse when someone told him that it was too warm. And he blasted the a/c and...More

Thanks for the great review. Ernie is phenomenal, a wonderful tour guide. I am lucky to have him as one of my tour guides. Ernie knows the horse world inside out.
Tell your family and friends about the tour and come back to see us.

Some people are very difficult to work with and this is one of those.
Could not do anything to please her.
I hope she found another tour and was happy.
The tour was very good but thanks to Ernie it was great! His experience as a former trainer and jockey added so much more to the experience....he was so knowledgeable of the horse farms and history. And his delightful personality and Kentucky accent was icing...More
We felt very fortunate to have Ernie as our guide. His knowledge and love for the industry gave us an up close and personal insight into the beautiful Kentucky experience of horse farms. We wish we could go back tomorrow!
A tour guide can really make or break your experience. Unfortunately, ours was broken.
Our guide was so soft spoken that no one could hear her and the audio equipment in our van was in or out. When we left the van we weren't given...More
Has anyone used "Horse Farm Tours, Inc" or "Unique Horse Farm Tours" or any other tour agency that you would recommend? We would really like to see a working farm.

I don't have first hand experience with any of the tours since I live here. However in yesterday's Herald-Leader there was an insert which had descriptions of some of the more noted horse farms as well as a listing of all the tour companies. You might call the newspaper for a copy and see which farms interest you the most then find the company that goes there. Good luck.

Sooo many years ago as a young person our family toured Calument Farms are their any such tours available today of this farm or any other thorogbred farms??

There are many farms that offer tours. The best way to get access to them is through a horse farm tour company. There are several in the area (btw-Lexington, not Louisville, is where the vast majority of the horse farms are). I think visitlex.com has a listing of the different companies.

Are there tours of the various Arabian Horse farms in Waco?

I was not aware there were any notable Arabian horse farms in Waco. If you call the farm, I’m sure they will tell you.
