Visiting a horse farm has been on my bucket list for quite a while. We went on the Horse Farm Tour with our two college age granddaughters and were fortunate to have Ernie Flynn as our guide. Due to his past experiences (being a jockey and trainer), he is very knowledgeable about horses and horse racing. He willingly answered our many questions. The tour of Keeneland Racetrack was outstanding, and we loved seeing the horses and learning about the workings of the racetrack. Additionally, we stopped at two more horse farms for visits (and drove by many others). The workers were very friendly and showed us the horses. I would highly recommend this tour.

We loved this tour! Ernie knows EVERYTHING about horses, horse farms, and racing. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer. We drove throughout the country and he told us about all of the horse farms we passed. When we stopped at Keeneland racetrack, everyone there was saying "Hi Ernie" when we passed. He is obviously well known and well liked, and for good reason. He was a pleasure to spend the morning with. Also, the riders who were training the horses on the track were friendly and brought the horses over for pictures. The workers in the stable area were also very friendly and welcoming. And the horses of course were so beautiful and amazing! We also stopped and walked around one of the horse farms and got to see some beautiful colts. Even though it rained hard throughout part of our day, it didn't dampen our enthusiasm for the adventure. Highly recommended!

Ernie Flynn is the BEST tour guide. He has so much experience, as a jockey, trainer; and has been in the business since he was 16. The tour is worth every dime. We saw countless thoroughbred farms that did not disappoint.

Spent the morning with our tour guide Shelley. She picked us up at hotel and we began our journey. We had a small group (7 total). We started off at Keeneland and got to watch some practice runs. We couldn't have picked a more gorgeous day, the weather was absolutely perfection. We stopped by several more horse farms for some pics and stopped on the side of the road to give some peppermints to some of the horses. Finished up the tour at Magdalena Farm to pet and love on more horses. We loved our trip, very informative!!!
