I've been to the Opera House several times for varying performances (Operas, Fundraising concerts, musicals). The place is beautiful! Red velvet and gold with chandeliers everywhere you look. The seats are VERY uncomfortable, so I tend to go see musicals and theater at the Aronoff in Cincy instead of here. Drinks (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) and small snacks are available at... More

We attended a production of The National tour of Once last week and enjoyed the show immensely. The theater was lovely, with everyone from will call to ushers being most helpful. We entered the theater during the matinee performance to ask about parking, and where the stage door was located. The usher in the lobby was so kind and helpful,... More

This historic old theater venue displays history and charm. Built before sound amplification, the acoustics are superb. As per the period (1880 - 1890) the seating capacity is only moderate, but there did not appear to be a bad seat in the house. I had seen "The Producers" several times, and the relatively small stage did not detract from the... More

The Opera House has a wonderful charm and character perfect for plays and musicals. Not a bad seat and the staff amd very helpful and friendly. My son and I saw The Producers this weekend. The actors were exceptional. Set design was good. The orchestra was flawless. We were disappointed however, at the elimination of the character LSD in this... More

My daughter and I spent a wonderful afternoon at the Lexington showing of "Beauty and the Beast" on Sunday. The seats were great and the production was amazing! It was easily accessible and parking was no problem just across the street. The crowd was orderly and we would love to go again soon.

I am concluding the sixth and final Broadway Live production this Sunday at the Lexington Opera House. I recommend almost any live performance at the Opera House. The seating is classic opera house seating with two balcony levels and two upper boxes on each side. A full house is just under 900 seats. The sound system is excellent and whether... More

My wife and I went with other family members to see 98.1 The Bull's Country Acoustic Jam. Very nice venue and the staff there was superb. We will go there again for future concerts.

Been to several shows at the Opera House, they have all been good. Great seating and sound quality for any event. The staff has always been super friendly and helpful. Downside is no parking, just park on the street and hike it. Not worth paying to park, they are all a good walk anyways.

Wonderful experience at the Lexington Opera House. Beautiful facility, Not too large so you have a good seat no matter where you sit. Old world charm and first class atmosphere.
