Nice little local history museum, now if you do not like history then you will not like it, me being an archaeologist I though it was interesting

We were very excited to visit the history center because my husband had a part in building it. We were very pleased with the experience. We love learning about the rich history that our state has, and we enjoy sharing it with our children.

My family of 3 happened upon the museum in our walk around downtown Lexington right before it closed, and we were glad we went in. Whether you spend 1 hour or 3, this museum is worth your time. Lexington has a very rich history that we would not have fully appreciated had it not been for the time spent in... More

surprisingly there is a lot to read that is very interesting as the museum is relatively small. We had only 2 hours but needed to spend 3 which meant that we missed a lot of what was on offer.
