Nice place to walk

My husband and I love to come out here and make the circuit around - we like to explore all over here as well. Beautiful space!

Ample walking trails, wonderful plantings and well thought out backdrops that are perfect for photo shoots. Moderns sculptures, natural fallen trees and many bird species.

Obviously this place is at its prime in Spring. I still enjoyed it very much in the dead of winter. I was bundled up of course. I was thankful for the public restroom that was open in the visitor's center since I walked just under two miles from my hotel to get here. I posted winter pics on a day... More

The children's garden is nice. The flower gardens were pretty. Seen some hawks on the water tower. Has nice walking trails.

This is a great, laid back way to spend a summer day. We didn't realize how large the arboretum is so we just spent some time wandering around and enjoying the views. It was a nice way to pass the afternoon. It is also totally free to visit.

Great way to spend the day. Sunbathe and read a book, you won't be alone. Go for a bike ride or run. Beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings. Just enough away from the main roads that the only noise you'll hear is the one your with and the wind..

My Yorkie and I go to the Arboretum for walks once or twice a week. Such a wonderful area. We enjoy it so much. They have a container at the entrance from the parking lot for donations. I donate about once a month. Please help if you can.

Great place to take the kids and just enjoy the scenery. I love walking the paths and checking out the new varieties of flowers.

This is my favorite spot to visit when I travel to Lexington, while visiting my children at the University of Kentucky. There are many miles of paved trails to walk, run, or Rollerblade, and many more unpaved trails, even through the woods, to explore. You will pass gardens of all varieties, wetlands with decking weaving over the wet spots, large... More

My wife and I stayed at a nearby hotel when we were attending an event nearby. After rising and having breakfast, we decided to go for a walk at The Arboretum. It was the day after a UK football game so the access drive was cordoned off to prevent football parking occurring. However, the parking lot for The Arboretum was... More
