Overview
More
Part thoroughbred race course, part sales company and considered one of America's most beautiful tracks, Keeneland is known for its well-designed and meticulous landscaping. The grounds consist of the paddock, a prep area where visitors can view horses up-close just before the race and a combination of dirt and turf race tracks.

My wife and I are not horse or horse racing fans. However, touring this facility was very enlightening. By the time we finished I had to have the green Keeneland polo shirt!

Go early in the morning - 6:30 - to watch the horses train. Great time to meet celebrities. The track serves a wonderful, casual breakfast.

Everyone that visits this area needs to stop at Keeneland. Even when they aren't racing it is a beautiful place to walk around and see.

We enjoyed our tour of the track, although we didn't have nearly enough time to see everything. Hopefully, one day we'll get to visit when they're actually racing!

Bourbon trail tours are good. You don't have to visit all of them. Buffalo trace Is good one.

You can leave a vehicle overnight, but not an RV for instance that you would stay in and sleep.
