Part thoroughbred race course, part sales company and considered one of America's most beautiful tracks, Keeneland is known for its well-designed and meticulous landscaping. The grounds consist of the paddock, a prep area where visitors can view horses up-close just before the race and a combination of dirt and turf race tracks.

One of the finest tracks in USA. Historic, scenic, well maintained, Volunteer staff are friendly and helpful. Go to the track breakfast and the behind the scenes presentation. Well worthwhile.

Since it was January, there wasn't much going on at Keeneland and there were very few people there. It was awesome to walk around the grounds and check out the race track! Very neat if you ask me! The staff in the gift shop was also very nice and gave us a map! Will visit again, hopefully sometime when there... More

Really loved it there people were so nice and we got to walk around and go where we wanted to. You can even eat with the trainers and watch them work the horses. We loved it so much that we are going back

Having been a frequent visitor to Lexington and Keeneland since my long passed college days, if I had to select a place from my travels that brings the best memories, it would hands down be Keeneland Race Course. Whenever someone asks for places to visit in Kentucky, Keeneland is always high on my list of favorites. The beauty and peaceful... More

Tailgate with buddies then go in for the races! Awesome time and fun atmosphere! In conjunction with Red Mile, so after the races you can head over and play slots all night!

Before I was educated on the sad futures many racehorses face, I enjoyed going to various tracks. Keeneland had a charm about it, but definitely wasn't as modern as Churchill Downs. The last time I went there, it was full of drunk and rowdy college kids. Standing room only. Beer-sloshing everywhere. There are far better racetracks in America.

By chance we arrived in Lexington on the first day of the fall race meeting. Keeneland was all the buzz so we joined about 20,000 other people at the horse races. It was something we had never experienced and it was a few hours we will certainly remember. The horses were amazing, most everyone was friendly and helpful. $5.00 to... More

This was a great girls day out visit! Love watching the horses, and people watching, as well. Cannot wait to go back with the husband!

Even if you know nothing about horse racing you must go to Keeneland. It is a fun event with the horses, people, jockeys, trainers and experts.
