The Lexington Cemetery is one of the most beautiful cemeteries I have ever visited. The garden areas are enticing, and the sense of history and tradition are powerful. This cemetery is large and beautifully maintained. For a sense of the wilder side of Kentucky history, ask to be directed "across the street" to the cemetery where Lexington's famous "Madam" of... My husband has not only his parents buried here, but also at least one side of his grandparents'. The cemetery is very well-kept, and when we had an inquiry at the office; they helped us out to the best of their abilities.

IT's Just a Very Beautiful Place, especially in the Spring and Fall months. It's very serene and peaceful in a relative part of the City. The Spring has all the Flowers and trees blooming. and, In the Fall, all the Leaves are changing colors, and Just displaying all of Natures beauty.

I visited the cemetery to see where Henry Clay was buried after I took a tour of his estate. It was really fascinating. They had a beautiful tribute to our servicemen there, also.

The cemetery is immense. It is well taken care of, a great tribute also to American troops. Great nature, easy to reach by car.

Found it by accident. How serenely beautiful it was. Careful, it's really big, and you can easily get lost.

There is an expected sense of reverence; but, at the same time a bit exciting because of all the history involved. If you have the time it is impressive.

History buffs, and walkers will love this place. Lots of very interesting monuments. Only thing is that it is so big that we kept getting lost trying to get out, which at a cemetary, was kind of disconcerting!
