We always like to check out cemeteries when traveling, for any historic or famous people buried nearby, and this cemetery was neat to check out. I always appreciate when they leave maps of notable burials by the front office, along with having signs in the...More

Whenever I travel and it’s convenient, I’ll check out cemeteries. This one had all of the best qualities of a cemetery...historic, stately, beautifully maintained and well organized with markers. Many famous Kentuckians are buried here, some modestly and others more ostentatiously, but they’re all dead...More

We drove through this cemetery just for kicks as we stayed nearby since it looked so peaceful and to no surprise it was. This folks have done a great job to maintain the peaceful siting. Nice work.

The cemetery is HUGE, and it's not really very easy to navigate if you are looking for specific markers.

What a peaceful tranquil experience. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. A great experience for History buffs. A good place to go for solitude. Even though it is located in the City, once you enter ithru the gates, you enter solitude.
