The lady of the house gave us a great detailed tour. We learned a lot of history about the people and home they inhabited. Also the total history of the house. The old, old Ash tree was interesting also. I recommend going!

The tour by Jackson was fun and informative. I particularly enjoyed learning and visualizing what is was like living in Lexington 200-years ago. In addition to the fascinating house museum, there is a small Civil War Museum and a Hemp Museum. Together it helps paint a picture of Lexington’s interesting history.
