Horrible strange experience. After going to counter to order, he said to have a seat and he would be over to take order. Ordered 2 wine tastings, glass of wine, and food. He brought over 4 carafes of wine and medicine cups then pulled up a chair uninvited and sat with us. Seemed very confused with business processes and just keep talking to us, he obviously has some problems and wa struggling, he said he was the co-owner. Someone else came out and asked him why he gave us the carafes while he was sitting with us, but didn’t come over to see what was going on or to assist him. I don’t think he ever placed the food order, never got the glass of wine. We were there for 45 minutes, never got a bill/receipt when asked how much we owed. We would have bought wine and paid with card, but we paid with cash as we didn’t know how long that process would take as he didn’t appear to know what he was doing. Would not recommend, couldn’t get out fast enough, we were as kind and accommodating as we could be, honestly the wine we drank didn’t even equal a tasting. If you don’t want to serve people, then don’t open your doors. You should have not only offered assistance to your customers, but you should have helped your worker/co-owner.

We were very early for our tour at Maker's Mark, and needed to eat. The hostess there recommended Jester's Winery, only 2 miles away. We had the grazing box and wine. Great deal and plenty of food for two of us. Would definitely return here if back in the area.

Absolutely loved this place. Don't let the small size surprise you, they've got a nice list of varieties to sample and each was better than the one before. Ended up taking home a case of everything and gift shop items as well.
Look over in the back corner - see the slushy machine? There's wine in them spinners - you gotta try it. Fabulous.

On our way to Maker’s Mark, just a quick detour. Tasting is $6, wine in a can, ever seen that before? Haha! I asked a lot of questions, got pretty much one word answers. Wish the owner and bartender talk more.

We went to Makers Mark and saw the winery on the way. We stopped for a tasting and Greg gave us a friendly welcome. It was an enjoyable tasting. Our boys tried at least four of their items on the menu and loved it. The green egg out front let us know there would be good eats. It was a weekday late morning and I felt like we had a private tasting. We talked for a couple of hours and left with quite a bit of wine. If you are in the area. Stop by. It is worth it!

A really great stop! Do not miss this place! The owners are so friendly and personable. The wines are amazing! They take you through their whole menu with cheese, crackers and wine glasses that you can keep afterwards. We bought three bottles and will DEFINITELY be getting more!

Winery may be a bit off the beaten path for some , but this one is definitely worth the trip and time. Very friendly staff. Owners on premises. They have a "couples" tasting, complete with crackers and a Kentucky cheese of your choice. Wide array of samples to taste with a story behind each one. Then a tour of the facility. At the end they will wash your glasses and yes, you get those, too. All for 15$. Most tours will tell you about their wines, some of how they are made and you walk away not quite sure of how it's done. Not here. They explain every detail and trick they use. To me, this was so "Kentucky" and by that , I mean open, friendly, and treating you like you are family that wants you to join in on the process/fun. As for the wines - delish. You have to try the 'Plum', as in my journeys across the U.S. I have never experienced a wine quite like this one. And the wine frappes. Wonderful on a hot summer day! Top notch.

My wife and friends attended the wine tasting and tour and returned later that evening for a wine painting class with Benji. The wine was excellent especially the wine moon red. Benji was very entertaining and we will definitely return every return every chance we can

We visited White Moon Winery with a group of friends. We attended the Grape Stomp event. It was a fun time. We enjoyed a glass of wine, I liked the Chambourcin but the rest of the group liked the cab sauv. We got to stomp our own container of grapes. They had been frozen previously and were very chilly on the piggies! It was a unique experience. After stompin', we enjoyed a mini tour from the owner Alex. She was very friendly. We enjoyed a catered meal of BBQ, green beans, baked beans, loaded potatoes and peach cobbler. They also had bourbon balls which I don't typically like but they were yummy. We definitely had a great time!! We took home a couple bottles of wine and some great memories!
