The animals that were out were okay but the majority were in their buildings. If you don't rent a golf cart you walk a lot and oynx cave is narrow.

We ended up here while we were on vacation at Mammoth Cave, kind of on my insistence, because I was intrigued after reading about it. We had 2 adults, 1 teen, and 1 preteen in our group. We were given a recommendation to look for...More

We had a great time here! Not a lot of animals to see, which was kind of sad. But we got to feed and pet kangaroos! You can also feed some birds. You have the option to rent a golf cart, which was totally worth...More

This place is super cool and fun. You get to see unusual animals such as kangaroos but you also get to interact with the animals. You can feed and walk among the kangaroos. You can feed the birds and they will even land in you....More

I realize it is mostly animals from Australia but for the price I expected more then what we saw. After reading the reviews I was so excited to bring our children and the grandparents to see this place. Feeding kangaroos was the highlight that had...More

We visited with 4 adults, 4yr old and 2 yr old. The kangaroo petting zoo is interesting however the red kangaroo was aggressive to the 2 yr old- maybe because 2yr old was closer to his size. Maybe better to carry smaller children. Cave is...More

We loved the Kentucky Down Under Zoo (KDUZ). While the zoo is small, if you are in the Bowling Green area and like animals, I would say this is a must stop. The small size and personal touch is what makes this zoo so lovable....More

My husband and I was on vacation visiting Mammoth Caves. We chose Kentucky Down Under because I had seen it on Groupon several times and I thought it would be neat. My hubby rented one of the golf carts, at an extra cost. We had...More

I've been twice and spent about 2 hours both times. It really depends on you. You can spend all day there, doesn't cost extra, once you pay you can also leave and come back. We left and ate and came back for the cave tour.
