We visit here every time in Cape May. The views are fantastic and the 2 shops have reasonably priced local beach themed apparel and souvenirs. We will be back next visit.

I had been suggested this beach by several reviews from friends. The sunset really is amazing, but what touched me most was the flag lowering ceremony that took place about half an hour before sunset. I would highly recommend that active duty or retired military...More

Great place to catch a beautiful sunset over Delaware Bay. If you're going for the sunset, place to be there a little early as a crowd of people gathers each night to watch one - parking becomes an issue. There's also a casual restaurant and...More

The sunsets at Sunset Beach are amazing and spectacular. The place gets crowded for the sunsets and parking becomes limited so show up early. You can watch the sunset from the beach area so bring chairs or a blanket... you can have a picnic or...More

A friend local to the area referred us here. What a great find. A much more peaceful atmosphere with the calm bay waters. We grabbed lunch at The Grille and ice cream and they have cute gift shops with clean bathrooms.

Definitely worth a visit. Awesome view and very interesting to see the difference in the Sand Composition and Dune structure up and down the Coast. I think this is probably pretty crazy during the "Season

Bring your camera! The little gift shop claims free coffee - and they have it. Unfortunately it was so cold and blustery that day that others had already taken advantage of it and we were a little late. None the less, the shop is full...More

How is this beach for kids under 5? Are there life guards present? We stayed in wildwood last year and while it was fun, it was over crowded . I get the sense from reading the reviews that staying in cape may is a lot more quiet

The beach is great to play on and find Cape May Diamonds, seashells and sea glass but not so much for swimming. No Lifeguards here. There are lifeguards at designated beaches in Cape May and Cape May Point beaches.

Is there an entrance fee. Other Cape May beaches cost $6 for a day pass.
