Sunset beach in Cape May the only place in New Jersey, and possibly the east coast, where the sunset can be viewed over the ocean. Remember to look for the Cape May diamonds that lie hidden on the beach. Truly one of the most beautiful sunsets in...More

Wow, this is the place to be in on a Summer's evening at sunset. Just like the name implies, crowds gather to watch the sun's daily parting and the majestic array of pastel and primary colors that fill the sky. Bring your good camera, the...More

We biked out from Cape May. Easy ride for us. Good view. Birds. I was surprised at how clean the beach was. One of my photos shows sandpipers along the edge of the water and no discoloration of the sand.

The special thing about this Cape May beach is their sunset ceremony. They perform a military retreat and honor someone from the NJ community from any US conflict. It is beautiful and I appreciate the respect shown to the flag. This beach offers a great...More

Touching flag ceremony followed by beautiful sunset with dolphins breaching close to shore. All ages, mellow crowd, with a few benches where parking lot meets sand. Bathrooms available in store.

If you come to Cape May this is a must visit! We love the rock beach, and we always enjoy eating at the little cafe, and shopping in the shops. The views are terrific!

Dogs are allowed at Sunset Beach Area always and on the beach September 15-March 30... and if you went right towards Higbees you'd be ok as that is not state park anytime.
