Rented a pontoon from the Kentucky damn village marina. KY lake is big and connects to lake Barkley. Water isn't clear like we are use to. Lake wasn't congested for a Friday .

I have been vacationing on KY Lake since the late 1950's. Now, with Lake Barkley and the Land Between the Lakes - SO much offered and SO many things to see/do/experience. The Tennessee and Cumberland Rivers and the LBL are great. Enjoy the lakes and the surrounding area!

This was my first visit to Land between the Lakes and it won't be my last. Such beautiful scenery, wildlife and a peaceful setting. Just what's needed for rest and relaxation. Or you could sail, jet-ski, swim, fish, paddleboard and be adventurous! Something for everyone.

We camped at Kings Creek Resort for our first trip to Kentucky Lake. We would not classify this as a resort but a seasonal campground with permanent campers. The campground was noisy and running heavy equipment in the early morning. Spot was ok by the lake but too close to the marina traffic. We did the enjoy the local antiques... More

Took off for a weekend of rest. Had a nice room but loved the balcony. Had a view of lake but had three orphaned fawns the stayed around. Spent lots of time watching them and reading. This was a relaxing trip for me but my husband was able to watch the Flw weigh ins.

We recently took the family for a two night camping trip right before summer break. We wanted to avoid the heat and simmer crowds. We rented and RV an off we went. We found the lake clean and lots of local shops to visits. The locals were more than helpful.

This whole area is just beautiful, we live only 30 miles away and try to take advantage as often as possible. Take a day and just drive the trails around the lake or maybe try one of the many hiking trails. The views of the lake are absolutely amazing and be sure to pack a lunch there are many great... First time seeing Kentucky Lake since I was a child in 1955 and my Dad was stationed at Fort Campbell. Beautiful lake with all sorts of recreational opportunities.

Stayed at Hillman Ferry Campground. A very nice campground, very secure and clean. Some of the camp sites were a little small and weren't made for boat trailers. Also not enough restrooms. The lake itself is very beautiful with some nice sandy shores and beautiful rocks.
