We had heard of people floating the Elkhorn River. My wife and I both love being on the water. Decided to take a trip to Frankfort and check out Canoe Ky. Absolutely loved every minute of it except for the post sunburn care. The staff at Canoe Ky were very helpful. A short safety video made us aware of what... More

What could be better than floating down the Elkhorn Creek in a tandem kayak? Nothing! The staff were very friendly, informative & helpful. They showed a safety video before we boarded the van to head up river about six miles. You can use whatever craft (Kayak, canoe or paddle board) until 5pm when they close. Highly recommend to have a... More

We recently took the fun float trip to enjoy a lazy Sunday on the water and had a great time. There were 8 of us in our group of various ages and skill levels in the water, and fun was had by all. I would highly recommend checking them out, and enjoying the convenience of a "full-service" ride down the... More

My 10 year old son and myself had a great 4 hour trip down the creek in a canoe. We saw a couple of snakes, many turtles, frogs, tadpoles and many birds. We had a great time navigating the small Rapids and rocky shallows.

There were 4 (all seniors) of us on this two hour cruise. The dock is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The access to the boat and the entrance onto the boat was easily accessible. Everything can be seen from the bottom floor including going outside on both ends of the boat. A circular stairs leads to... More

We took the boat ride that took you through the lock and dam and it was very nice and interesting. I have never been to this area and the water was beautiful. The boat was very nice and the crew very very friendly. I'd like to try and convince my 90 year old grandma to just take the regular boat... More

I would really love to score this high because we had a great kayak trip today, but too much was poorly handled by the company that runs it. First they won't refund your money though its rain or shine, or the river could be running very low. It seems to me that if they can make a change at the... More

I do not want to make any excuse for why your trip was not the perfect experience we are use to hearing about. We have heard your concerns and we are addressing them internally with our current... My son had never been to a camp before and loved Canoe Kentucky's Day Camp. The camp counselors were wonderful and friendly. My son came home every day with the same phrase: "I had a blast". They made his first camp experience a great one.
