This was a great stop. More than just dollhouses. Many miniatures to create whole scenes reflecting both the historical and the fanciful. Very creatively done. A don't miss. Also for RVrs, they are a Harvest Host.

I have lived in the Danville area for 12 years and hate to admit that this was my first time here. As an older adult male, I have little interest in dolls or dollhouses, so I wasn't sure what my reaction would be to this museum. All I could say, all the way through though, was "Wow!" The quality of the miniatures is what really impressed me -- so small, so delicate -- I'd go crazy creating those! And the variety, from miniature plants in a "garden" to ice cream cones in a confectionery shop -- amazing. Though one would think this would be an ideal stop for families with young children, I would not say so. Children under 7 or 8 might be scared by some of the exhibits, and wouldn't appreciate the work that went into these marvelous creations. Then again, I don't believe in taking 2-year-olds to theme parks. What parents need to emphasize here is the quality of the miniatures, the amount of work and skill that went into the creation of the items, and the overall theme. If you are a miniaturist, collect miniatures, or even KNOW someone who does, this museum's gift shop is a MUST.

Thought I would be in and out but this place is amazing. I was there 2 1/2 hrs and could have spent more time but had to go. Laurie was very sweet and very knowledgeable. I will be back with my grandkids for sure. If you are ever in Danville Ky you have to stop by here and check it out. Worth the time and money to go. Oh and they have more dollhouse accessories than any place around with great prices. WONDERFUL PLACE

We didn't know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. Exterior of building left us wondering if this was worth the trip Once inside, we were met with amazing displays, huge content, and a shop with any dollhouse accessory you could want!

This place was WONDERFUL! Much more than we expected. Highly recommended for those who not only love dollhouses, but also those who love miniature things as my daughter does. The photos don’t do it justice.
