I only had the opportunity to visit the outside of the cathedral but I'm sure you can go inside, be careful where you park you car as here are signs stating tow away zone but it was unclear to me where one zone started and another one finished!

This amazing church can rival any European cathedral in beauty. From the gargoyles on the Gothic exterior to the hundreds of stained glass windows to the mosaic stations of the cross, the interior is a marvel. A guide is on hand to welcome visitors and assist your self-guided tour.

There is no other church in small-town America that comes as close to European grandeur as Covington's Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption. The windows, stonework, marble, all beautifully crafted. If you're lucky, you'll meet the wonderful bishop.

I just got back from Europe. I saw many churches there. The stained glass window in the Basilica is just as beautiful as the ones in Europe. You can also get a tour if that interests you.

Definitely worth a pop in if you're in the area just to see the beautiful stained glass here. Been to a lot of churches around the world and I think this is one of the most stained glass-ed ones I've ever been in...great to sit quietly and admire on a sunny day when you'll be surrounded by light and color.

The church is gorgeous and we'll taken care of. Lots of information is available from the host at the information desk. St. Mary's is also visible from many places around the city. Wonderful location for weddings. Munich style stained glass windows are unique.

My family went to church at the afternoon time on Saturday. There wasn't very many people who attended the mass. The organ player was fantastic and had an angelical voice. The whole church had beautiful stain glass windows.

I took some out-of-town visitors to look at the Basilica's stained glass windows. Not only are the windows magnificent, but the entire interior of the building is just beautiful. The wood-working is amazing. The Basilica may not be nearly as large as some European cathedrals, but, in my opinion, it's just as, if not more inspiring than most of the... More

Have only seen a few basilica's since I have not been to Italy, but am glad we took a detour to see this stunning church, there is a wonder pamphlet telling you about the history of this church and the details of the masonry brought in from Italy, if you are on the way to Cincinnati stop and see this...
