The family and I enjoyed our visit to Dinosaur World. The gift shop is huge and reasonably priced. It was raining when we arrived but there are a few indoor and covered activities which was nice. The walk through the dinosaurs goes along a concrete...More

We took my three year old nephew for an early birthday present. He loves dinosaurs but was far from expressed with any of these dinosaurs unfortunately. The exhibit is extremely dark inside which of course makes it hard to see the fossils and bones etc....More

Our kids (5 & 8) loved this so much they wanted to go back another day. We probably could have spent longer here than we did (about 2 hours.) The dinosaurs are impressive. Our daughter enjoyed being our "tour guide" introducing each one. The "fossil...More

This is, in my opinion, the only site worth seeing in cave city if you have kids (other than mammoth cave) We spent two nights at Yogi Bear and took one morning to check out Dinosaur World. The whole family loved it. The dino dig,...More

You can get a rough idea what it's like by looking at their web site if you haven't already. Never been there, however, I've seen the web site and it looks like it's very much for little kids - Persoanlly, I choose to pass on visiting.

Hi, We plan a trip to Florida next spring break and I was wondering if someone have comments on my itinerary. I'm looking more for "don't miss that" or "it's way to far to do that in one day" :) You know what I mean? My itinerary is mostly done, but since I will go there, I don't wanna miss something around the corner that I was not aware. Also, I change hotel from Fort Myers and St. Pete (or Clearwater) because it's seem too far for me to always stay in the middle of everything I want...More

Your itinerary is pretty good. A couple of tips. Snorkeling from shore in the keys is not that great, no reef close to shore so not much to see. A snorkel trip to Looe Key would be better. Your should research the Florida Keys and Key West forums on the many other things to see & do while there. Unless you really want some beach time I would skip Sombrero Beach. You will have better beaches on the gulf coast. Weeki Wachee is a small park, nice springs there, rent tubes and lockers early...More

I know going in that Eureka is not really for young kids. So, I'm thinking of taking my kids up for a day and possibly staying a night in Eureka with them. Any suggestions on good places to stay and things to do. We'll probably walk around down town for small bit as there are mostly just shops and that won't last long. My main reason for going is to take them to see the statue of Jesus. Does anyone know if the Passion Play still has that Dinosaur Exhibit that was there 4-5 years ago? ...More

Forgot to comment on the Quality Inn hotel. They do still have the dive-in movies. We've stayed there twice now. The last time was back in May. Nice hotel, comfy beds.
