My husband and I took our 9 year old daughter. Unfortunately we had a ton of rain and our first trip out we was drenched with rain so hard you could barely see. They ended up canceling the remainder of the tour but gave us a few different options. Luckily we were able to go out again the next morning. The guides were all amazing. The guy who runs this was also very sweet. This is really worth the money. Also if you stay at the Red River Gorge cabins you save $25 per person!!

We have been hiking in the RRG many times and was looking for something new this trip. We saw the zipline tour, but at a 100 bucks a head the price seemed a bit steep. Well thanks to Zack, Hunter and Greg it was well worth it. You go through 5 different lines travelling all across the gorge. The equipment was newer and well maintained. The guides were very jovial but I watched and they followed a strict safety procedure each time. If you can stomach the bill it is well worth the cost. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend Red River Gorge Ziplines.
We have tried others but this set up offers very long, fast, and high lines with memorable views.
The crew we had with Evan, Caleb, and Dillon offered us some comedy relief while they took turns with all the safety protocols.
Warning to anyone nervous… just know in advance you come in hot to that first landing. It feels as though you are certainly going to crash into the tree. But after that one, you get used to it. Im a bigger guy at 210lbs and picked up a lot of speed.
There were 5 total zips and it only took us about an hour and 15 min once we got on the course. Prior to that was safety and bus ride.
We had a lot of fun.

My wife and I had the chance to visit the Red River area for three days in September 2021.
After hiking in the Smoky Mountains for the previous three days we were looking for something different to do on vacation.
So I signed us up for something neither of us had ever done, zip lining.
Only problem is my wife was very afraid of heights.
In my defense We HAD discussed possibly doing something like this while we were planning our trip. After 19 years of marriage evidently I should know that’s not a green light to just sign us up for such an activity😉.
But she was a good sport and went along with the plans. Let me tell you- these guys are great!
I’m an adrenaline junkie so I had no problem taking that first step and flying across. However she was a different story, but the guides were soooo patient with her. They told her all the safety mechanisms in place making it impossible for us to fall and worked her into taking that first step!
After her third zip line she was having a blast!
I highly recommend this company and their guides who were very professional yet made the experience a lot of fun!
The last two lines you go on are 1,900’ long and 300’ above the valley floor.

Our family of five rated this as the top thing we did on vacation. The kids were ages 9 to 16. A few of us, including me, are deathly afraid of heights. And yet the way the company has set things up, you feel very comfortable doing the zip lines. You start out with a easy zip line and build your way to the fourth and fifth zip lines that take you over the red river gorge. I honestly thought I would chicken out after the third Zipline, but by the time I actually completed the first line, I felt so comfortable that I knew I would complete all 5 lines. I do wish the guided wouldn’t joke about safety issues. Joking about everything else is just fine, of course. It only happened once or twice, but It shouldn’t happen at all. Regardless, this is a stellar attraction that will live in our memories!

My teenage son wanted to go zip lining and my 6’4” husband was too big so that left me to go with him. I am afraid of heights and was terrified. My son had a blast. The guides were awesome and I had faith that they would keep us safe. I can’t say I would do it again but I highly recommend the experience for those that enjoy this type of activity.

Family of 3 - 1 adult, 2 teens. We had an AMAZING time, fun, fun, fun!! Our crew was Corey, Murph, Sara, Connor and Chris, each of them were very kind, fun and did a great job instructing and make sure everyone was safe. We had a family with a small child with them and she got stuck 3/4 of the way back (because of low body wt) and they jumped into action and went out and retrieved her with perfect precision. I HIGHLY recommend this tour to everyone. Esp. ask for this tour team, they were so much fun!

Great bang for the buck, Not one but a total of 5 different zip lines culminating in one over 1,900 foot over the Red River Gorge! Shout out to Mallory and her whole crew. Thanks for a fantastic experience. BTW there is not any climbing, you take a bus to the first zip line and the other 4 are all connected. I am afraid of heights but conquered those fears with the teams help and had a blast. Very impressed with the equipment, crew knowledge and safety procedures followed by the whole team. You are in good hands with this crew, give it a try!

We had an amazing day! Mason, Chris, and Hannah (AKA Shrek) did a great job guiding us through the trees, and making the trip very enjoyable. Its a great way to see some of the beautiful countryside. Highly recommend, everyone there was friendly and helpful.

Absolutely loved it!! Would highly recommend. Travelled to Rogers, Kentucky for the weekend with my niece. Found Red River Zipline Tours from a Facebook ad and decided to book it. Neither one of us had ever Ziplined before so it was a bit daunting at the top of the first line. We had a variety of people on the tour with us, some had been Ziplining before and others who were first timers like us. There was encouragement from everyone nobody felt pressured or rushed. The guides were awesome and made us laugh and at ease. I would definitely do the again!!

Hi, The time of day is a personal preference for each guests. Some prefer the coolness of morning while others prefer the warmer afternoon.

Hi, thank you for inquiring about the zipline! Yes, it is open all year with the exception of Christmas and Thanksgiving. We do highly recommend that you call and make a reservation if interested!

I read the weight limits on your web site saying 70 to 250 lbs. Does this mean that a child under 70 lbs could not use the zipline? Thank you.
Written July 5, 2015
Hi Jan,
A person under 70 lbs cannot take our zipline tour. If a person weighs less that 70 lbs, they will not be able to make it all the way across our lines. Even though a guide will pull them the rest of the way, it can make the tour less enjoyable for the person.

Hello, Are we able to take one zip line? What is the cost of all five and what amount of time is involved? Do we have to register before hand?
Written April 13, 2015
We only offer the full tour which is 5 lines and last about 2 hours long. Kids 12 and under are $69.99 and adults are $79.99. You do not have to reserve ahead of time but we highly recommend it because tours times can sell out fast.
