We drove to old downtown and found some wonderful things to see and photo. Bit of a struggle to find parking, but there was a free multi story parking right close to a Starbucks. short walk to see the beautiful square and war memorials even an old standard oil station has been rebuilt there too. Lovely.

My 8 year old daughter and I walked through as we were shopping nearby. It was a very nice little park. I particularly loved the fountain, it had lots of details. It was really hot and humid when we were there, but if the weather had been cooler I could see us having a picnic as I noticed a few... More

We absolutely loved this lovely park! It was a quiet respite in the middle of the city. The landscaping is beautiful and we enjoyed just sitting & watching the bees & birds fly from one flower to another. The water fountain just added to the serenity. We enjoyed our time in this park and highly recommend it to anyone needing... More

This is a beautiful square that has history , water fountain, beautiful flowers. I love seeing the town square and thinking about what it was like in its hay day. Great for pictures with family or the history.

The only highlight was Spencer's Coffee. It was like a ghost town which is sad because the square itself is very cute and had a good feel, but since there wasn't any shops it isn't worth stopping for.

We really enjoyed going to the Square during our visit to Bowling Green. It's a quaint little area where you can sit in peace and quiet and just watch what's going on around. We also found the people there to be very friendly and would actually greet us with a hello. This is a must stop to enjoy the atmosphere... More

My husband and I were in town for a tournament and got to spend some time in the park. It was a great atmosphere, very nice and romantic and also a great family spot.

The square is close to my office, I love to take my lunch in the square on pretty days. There's some great eateries on the square too.

I love parks with public art and sculptures! This is a small park, but a nice walk through if you are in the town square. Or a nice place to have lunch while in the area.

The Good: Classic ironwork, photogenic, free, lots of shops near by (including a nice coffee place), events and decorative lighting at times The Bad: nothing stunning This is the downtown of my home town. It's a very nice 19th century design if I do say so myself. It's almost unchanged since the introduction of the automobile. The iron fountain, trees... More
