This was an interesting little park and after you have been to major aircraft displays such as Pensacola, this is a little disppointing, however, the city can be proud of this display. Its purpose is to honor the brave pilots who have ties to this area and it has accomplished that by honoring them with plaques and displays of their historic aircraft. The exhibit is free and it will take you 30 minutes or so to see it, and there is a box where you can donate to the effort. It does take money to acquire, restore and display these aircraft and maintain the grounds, so donations are appreciated. Worth a visit if you are in the area.…

A few planes with lots of history. The informational plaques are easy to read and informative. See,s there are plans for a larger museum.

Well !! This was a neat little gem we weren't expecting. We had reservations at the KOA campground nearby and came across this park. Fee admission. Very small outdoor park, but with a unique variety of aircraft. Easy free parking off the street. Easy way to kill an hour or two. It appears there are plans in the works to expand.…

The planes are super interesting to read about and see. They made building a museum in the future. One day when we drove passed, there must have been an event because there were lots of people. I would recommend going during a program for a full experience.
