Fun Antique Mall
Jun 2018 • Couples
This antique mall was a Sears & Roebuck package home originally. Then with an addition at the back it became a mortuary. Now it is a unique home with many rooms of a variety of collectibles. The pricing is reasonable, the selection is good, and the owners very cordial. There is more than adequate parking at the back. The stained glass windows and woodwork in the house are very nice.

loved...loved...loved this place

Did I mention that I loved this place. The building used to be a funeral parlor so be sure to check out the architecture inside as you browse (beautiful). We collect small collectibles and this place is small collectible heaven. Don't expect high end antiques here.

The booths were well organized and the main aisles were wide and clear. The lady at the front desk was very nice and friendly and made us feel welcome. I found the prices to be very reasonable and we walked out with several more items for our collections. I would have bought more but I'm running out of shelf space at home.

Great place to shop

Mackin's is a great place to visit in Bardstown. It is in a old funeral home which gives plenty of space for shopping. There is a wide variety of items for sale. The owners are super friendly and helpful. We never leave without buying several things.

Mostly overpriced Junk!
Oct 2016 • Couples
There is a lot of stuff here, just must of it is just old junk. What little they had that was actually worth anything was so overpriced it was just insane. Very disappointed in the "Antique" Stores in Bardstown. Good thing they have good Bourbon and good restaurants!

Nice place to spend some time
Sep 2016 • Couples
I've been here several times and have bought several items. Many of the things we buy we repurpose them to make something that works for our home. None of which I would call an antique. If you want antiques, go to a real antique store. Nonetheless there are a few neat items. I like going here and looking around because they do not follow you around like you a criminal and going to pocket some tchotchkes.

Disappointed, not many antiques

Lots of common glassware and tchotchkes. The most interesting thing was that the original part of the house was a Sears Kit Home. Beautiful woodwork and stained glass.

This is a great place to spend a couple of hours. The staff was friendly and fun to chat with. A wide variety of things available here in a range of prices for everyone. Left with several items and will definitely be back soon

Perfect Picking Place

Mackin Antique Mall is my idea of man-tiquing perfection... The new location is housed in a former funeral home - creepy and cool at the same time - LOTS of rooms, wide variety of items and plenty of great things to appeal to guys - military and sports memorabilia - old toys - signs and transportation items and the biggest and best case chock full of pocket knives I had ever seen! My son collects antique weapons (other than guns) and he found some unique Ninja fighting swords - (the not sharp kind that hold in both hands for close in combat) and a great heavy duty military issue ammo box which was a steal at only $3.50. I highly recommend this spot for some weekend browsing - you can get lost in Mackin's for hours!

Getting a new building!
Got some more really great deals when I went with my wife to Mackins this weekend! We heard they were osing, but it turns out they are moving to a great new location! Grand opening is in July! The phone number will be the same they said Yay!
