We chose to go to Willett Distilling to see a smaller, hands-on approach to the industry, and we weren't disappointed. Our tour guide was enthusiastic and informative, and we loved seeing the whole process. It is hot in the buildings but not unbearable and even though there is a lot of construction going on, the grounds are lovely. We followed... More

We showed up today not expecting and family bottles and we were in lucky. New bottles were delivered the hour before. This is a great distillery with great products. Always nice people and beautiful scenery. At least stop by to see what's in the cabinet, and try out some of the bitters they offer.

My wife and I chose this distillery because it was one of the smaller ones and less well known (not a tourist trap). We made an excellent choice - the tour group was small and we learned a lot about the bourbon distilling process. It was a fun learning discovery.

It's small and independent so they let us try two samples of their Bourbon. Their flagship bourbon was in a very neat looking bottle shaped like a still. I also had a sample of Noah bourbon and it did not disappoint. They are not on the official bourbon trail but are on their app. I did the Bourbon Trail when... More

This was my third stop of the day while touring Bourbon Country. Willett's property is expansive and beautiful, and the work they are putting into the outbuildings to expand into a "destination" for Bourbon lovers are taking shape. Their distillery and tour was outstanding, and it was the only "active" one I visited during my trip, with up-close walk through... More

Beautiful place. U can feel like a part of the history. I want to bottle the smell of the angels share. Recommend for a more family feel and not a large cooperation

This Distillery was one of our favorites! Being small and family owned made our visit more intimate and lovely. It was beautiful, clean, friendly (workers wore costumes bc it was Halloween!) and the tastings were generous! Our tour guide was a family member of the distillery which was awesome! She was very friendly and knowledgable and gave us a great... More

My wife and I spent two hours with a free tour for active duty military. Otherwise the tour cost is very afordable and worth it! The staff was fantastic and very informative. The local pets keep you company as you wait. Great bourbon and a nice afternoon spent with the better half!

This craft distillery is a must see and a great complement to the also must see larger Maker's Mark distillery which is not too far away. For Willet, you really need to call ahead and reserve if you want a tour. We walked in on a Saturday and got the last two spots - lucky. They give a very personal... More

I like that Willett is an up-close-and-personal experience versus being in large groups at larger distilleries. I love the story of young Edward Willett and his journey to the US and his notoriety as one of America's earliest pewters. I won't spoil how the family came to Kentucky and got into the distillery business. Willett is a great addition to... More
