I was unsure about this winery because the wines are berry based instead of grape based. I prefer dry wines instead of sweet. This winery had a nice selection of dry, semi-sweet, and sweet wines. The dry strawberry wine literally tasted like a vine picked strawberry. The wines were loaded with flavor and did not have a strong vinegar taste like some berry based wines. We did a tasting where we sampled 6 wines for a small fee. The owner was very knowledgeable of his process and took us on a behind the scenes tour of how he makes his wine. We tried some of his “random” flavors like corn cob, jalapeño, and dandelion. They weren’t that great but it is definitely a “must try” just to say you have. The wine slushies at the end were a hit with our group. We enjoyed the randomness of this place and took home bottles too.

This winery is a great place to sit, relax, and enjoy the wonderful Fall weather. It is roomy, clean, and very spacious. They have a nice outside porch and sitting area and a nice selection of cheeses. The people were very nice and accommodating.
The wines are fruit wines as are most in this area, and we liked the blueberry semi sweet. The tastings are numerous and have a variety of dry, semi sweet, and sweet.

Stopped here in a couples weekend. It was our first winery we went to in the area. Being first timers to Bardstown, Shannon was so hopeful with places to see and local restaurants to try. Our favorite wine was the blueberry wine slushy. The other wines in the tastings were good, but would probably be better chilled.

Fruit wines!! Excellent!!
We visited last Monday and had a really great experience with Tisch? She was wonderful to work with and really knew the products and how they worked (dry/sweet/mellow etc).
Two tastings, I think $7.50 each... well worth the price. Six different products tasted.
We bought several bottles and they survived our flight home...
Thanksgiving will be special this year with these great wines!! Thanks Tisch!!

Located in a secluded area, this winery is situated in a beautiful setting. We did a tasting and then a wine slushie. Very clean property both inside and out. Woman bartender was a fabulous host who spent an appropriate amount of time with us. We were even allowed to walk the property and pick blueberries.

We had a great time visiting McIntyre Winery. We went during the day so social distancing was quite easy. Beautiful winery and the wine is fantastic. We ended up buying almost a full case of wine! The sampling of the wine was fun and be sure to try the wine slushies! Worth a visit!

Great wine. We didn't take a tour but did a wine tasting. We learned so much and enjoyed talking our host. They have a wide variety from Dry to sweet and my husband and I try different wines and will share one we think the other will like. Don't miss the chance to stop.

Great seasonal wines. Owner was knowledgeable and Tracy was super friendly. Interesting to try a wine in all its stages. Recommend the elderberry. Dry semisweet and sweet. I loved the corn cob. My friends thought it was okay. You've got to try them. I liked the green apple. All apples. I would come again and I'll be looking forward to ordering by phone to mail soon.

They go above and beyond to make it a family event, and like you are in your own home!! Homegrown fruit, for a home grown time! Can't wait to bring our friends and family back! If you are in Bardstown area stop in! A great big thank you to Tommy and Debbie we will be costumers for life!

We are coming to take delivery of our new Corvette at the museum in Bowling Green. We are staying one day in Bardstown and this sounds like a fun place to visit. Are there any dirt or gravel roads to the winery. or are they all paved? Thank you.

All the roads are paved. If I remember correctly, the parking lot may be gravel or grass but I believe even this can be avoided as there were a few paved lots by the main building.

Pretty sure it's 10-7 most days but if you call them the owners are super sweet and can answer all your questions.
