Yes, I know my jokes are on point. My fiancé and I were looking for a gas station at like 11:00 PM and we stumbled across this 20 ft egg on this road in the middle of a small town. Again, we were in town to get something to eat and didn't know about this until we drove by. Went ahead and ate, and them went back by to check it out. Lots of history and interesting information. And it's FREE! And check out the other eggs scattered around town...

This was worth a quick stop and a little lesson about a custom from Eastern Europe and their connection central Kansas. I liked the still large, but smaller by comparison eggs that are scattered around town.

The history of the egg and the meaning of the colors and shapes was fascinating to us. We walked around town and the town has dozens of smaller eggs. Knowing color and shape made them fun to see and experience.
