This zoo is one of the best. This was a family event and ages were from 3 to 74. There was something for everyone. They have times where they feed the animals and do other demonstrations. I would highly recommend watching the cats be fed. Either the tigers or lions. If you can go the day and time they are... More

We have been taking our kids to the zoo since we moved to the area in 1995, and are now taking our grandkids. In the 20+ years that we have been going, the zoo has expanded, remodeled and continued to improve. The zoo is well maintained and is a great place to walk. We keep an annual membership for just... Lots of fun and many animals and exhibits to check out. They have a lot of interactive activities to do with families.

Took our 4 and 8 year old grandkids and they really had a good time. We were bummed that we missed the boat ride twice. The zoo is huge, but is very spread out and doesn't seem to flow easily to go from one area to the next easily without looping back to places you already saw, or wondering if... More

I made a weekend visit to Wichita because I'm currently working in Nebraska. I love zoos, and this one was the reason I came to town instead of going somewhere else. I have to say I had a really good time. I had to do it in two days because of the heat, but it was worth paying to get... More

This is a great zoo with a lot of different animals and exhibits. We have been to San Diego and Phoenix and this ranks right up there with them. And is is much cheaper!

We are over from Ireland accompanying my husband on his business trip. We are all well-travelled and have visited many zoos both in Europe and elsewhere. On hubby's day off our 11 year old daughter chose the zoo as our family trip. We are all so glad she did (although it was really hot: 37 degrees!). There was plenty of... More

The whole zoo was amazing including the restaurant! The interactive sheep section was our favorite!! Those baby sheep were so cute. The animals were all sleepy since it was pretty hot but we were able to see all of them. Even the baby elephant was out and about for the public to see! This was the most fun I had... More
