Fun family activity. Definitely for adults or older teens. We were given good instructions, tips and safety points before starting. There is alcohol and other beverages available to purchase, but no food. You can bring your own snacks. It is a little pricey and would probably attract more people if the price was less.

Fun & different! The staff was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and it was a blast! I really didn't know what to expect and was a little skeptical, thought it looked a little pricey...I was so wrong!! It was a great value for the time and they really help you to learn to throw the ax, it is even more fun when you win!! I highly recommend this place! We went as couples to celebrate our friends first anniversary but this would be great for any one even corporate team building events. Go check it out, you will not be disappointed!

Our "coach" was unenthusiastic and seemed quite irritated when our board broke through and needed replaced. He took almost 15 mintues to do so with no speed or apology. We were also not given that time in the end. Considering you pay per hour I was frustrated with loosing time due to his attitude and lack of urgency.

For our post holiday team party, we enjoyed learning about your process, the replacement of timber, and our party of 19 had a blast. Exercising the arms and achieving a "throw that stuck into the boards" was a feat for me. I can see bringing my adult children to this for family fun.

We had a really good time! I was a little nervous about sharing a lane with strangers, but it was a good time anyways. Our board was a little chipped, and so our axe wasn't staying in a couple of places, but it wasn't terrible, and if we would have mentioned it, they probably would have changed it out. The only thing I would have enjoyed was a mixed drink. I'm not sure if they do it for safety (I get it) or because of licensing or what,but they only offer beer and since I'm not a beer drinker I wasn't able to enjoy an adult beverage. But we had a great night out!

We went with some family members and the instructor did a good job of explaining how to throw the axe. We had a couple people that had never done it before so that was nice. The issue we had was there was another group right next to us and the throwing bays are so close together that you do not have any room. Our backs were basically touching when we were sitting at the table. Other than that it was fun

We, 6 of us in our group, had a lot of fun. There are different “games” you can play like darts. The axes are not heavy at all, 3 members of our group are ladies and had no problem throwing the axe. The axe is like a tomahawk, 2 maybe 3 pounds. Make sure you reserve your lane at least a few days in advance for the weekend or a couple of days to play during the week.

Being the only two there made this night even more special. My husband and I came to Blade & Timber and had a great time. They took the time to teach us how to throw the axes and checked on us throughout our time there. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. Would definitely recommend.

I know it sounds pricy but it’s worth it. Their really there to help you figure out your throw, and have a good time. An hour and half doesn’t sound like much but it really is. This was my second trip there. Can’t recommend it enough for getting out of the same old thing rut!

One of our best friends was having a B-Day and we had walked by the store front one evening and she had committed “That looks like fun”. She was right, we had so much fun. We were able to book online and reserve (2) lanes for our party. We were given instructions on how to throw and safety. The staff was awesome, spending time with us to make sure our experience was a memorable one. Thanks for everything.
