Two samples were given free of charge - they also sell flights (3 choices for $8, 5 choices for $12), by the glass and by the bottle. I tried the Wine of a Different Color bluish wine and Surrender dessert wine. Both were pretty good. I don’t like white wines so I got a flight of all reds - OSEO, Angry Trees and Turn Back. I normally love cabs and merlots and the OSEO was a combo. It was kinda blah in flavor. The other two were ok, nothing exciting. I get the novelty of having Oz theme, smart idea to capitalize on it, but without that it’s nothing special. I was surprised at how little merchandise they had for sale as I would have loved some Oz Winery themed stuff. They had some shirts and stickers but that’s about it. Service was great and workers very friendly and nice. If going to Oz Museum, stop here but otherwise not sure if worth it for just the wine.

We never pass up a winery. Very nice tasting room in a restored store front.
A block from the museum. Our hostess ..a PURDUE GRAD..did a great job of directing us to wines that appealed to our palate.. Tasting charges were a bargain in our mind.. Liked their dry reds the best. They give them all OZ type names. It was well worth the stop

We looked forward to this for hours! And never got to experience it. The hours showed 12 to 5 on Sundays but they never opened! We drove from Cincinnati Ohio through Illinois through Kansas and stayed the night in Wamego. We were so disappointed! We waited around for two hours and they never opened. We called and only received a recording on how to order wine. If you’re going to go here I would highly suggest calling and making sure their hours are correct on their website! Before embarking on hours of driving. So disappointed.

This is not your typical tasting room. All the wines are Oz inspired. The prices could be better but it’s worth if you are a fan of the wizard of oz. I have never received my wine flight in this fashion either. Love it.

We of course wanted Oz bottles to commemorate our trip! We did a complimentary wine tasting (they are very good!) - the gentleman helping us was knowledgeable and a delight. We selected some bottles to bring home, There are also other gourmet food products and FABULOUS hand-crafted chocolates (I highly recommend the chocolate-covered caramel with sea salt). A fun addition to our visit.

Such a nice little winery! I went with some friend and we definitely had a great time tasting their different wines. I was actually impressed by the taste and complexity of all the them. The shop is really cute as well!

I am not a wine connoisseur by any means, but I have family members that enjoy a sip from time to time. I didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to get them a bottle from this nice winery in the heart of small town Wamego, KS. The staff was very friendly and helpful in my selection.

I have stopped by on every road trip just to see what they've come up with next! On this trip I picked up two bottles of wine - "Can't find my way home" a dry white and "Squished Witch" a sweet red. I was disappointed that they were out of cigars on this visit, but the cheese they sell are also excellent. I'll be back on my next road trip to see what else they come up with.

Super nice worker the day we were here. Did a flight of 5, plus 2 free samples. Not the best wines, but nice atmosphere and hubby and I enjoyed time there. The cheese crumbles were great with crackers. Didn't purchase any wines.

We had a great time trying a flight of wine. Fraidy Cat and Squished Witch were our favorites. There are enough varieties of wine that everybody can find something they like. It was also just a fun experience and they have a bunch of gifts and treats for sale up front too. We ended up buying two bottles of wine and will definitely be back to try more.
