Well worth the time!

Outstanding and friendly staff! The kids and adults loved the experience here. I am still amazed at the wonderful museum attached to the zoo! Can't wait to come back!

My husband and I visited the Rolling Hills Zoo yesterday and thought it was very nice. It is about 6 miles west of Salina out in the open so lots of room for the animals. They have everything from lions and tigers and bears (oh my) to reptiles and rhino's. There is a kids country area that our grandkids would... More

This is a wonderful zoo, although it is on the small side compared to others. The animals are housed in large open spaces, There are plenty of different species, each with each own area. The walk ways are wide, it is very clean and the rolling hills add to the over all experience. There is a restaurant, which we ate... More

This unobtrusive zoo was so much more than we expected. We were pleasantly surprised with the variety of animals on display, and the added perk of many spots to just sit down and take in the surroundings. Actually, with the added opportunity to go through the on site museum, this is a place to be sure to fit in your... More

I have been to the Rolling Hills Zoo a few times. It is a nice zoo, clean, and wide walk ways. It does have incline when going around the zoo walking, that's why they call it "rolling hills". The price of the zoo and museum are together. Nice place for family to spend the day.

Living near the DC Zoo, this one is small by comparison but make no mistake, it's not tiny. We stopped here to break up the monotonous drive through Kansas on I-70 and truthfully, I was expecting a little podunk spot with a couple animals. I was very pleasantly surprised to find out just how nice this place was. The zoo... More

Classic smaller zoo with lots of different animals to see. Good for all ages. Surprised at its location, but good value

This is a nice, quaint zoo. We went mid morning in the middle of the week and it was almost as though we had the entire place to ourselves! The prices were really reasonable and definitely worth the price. It was very clean and clearly the grounds are well taken care of. The people who work here and the volunteers... More

I loved this zoo because it is small but has a good variety of animals. It is not a huge zoo but it is very well representative of animals from around the world.

It had been many years since I visited Rolling Hills Zoo. My Daughter invited me along for her Family Day for her work. I was impressed with all the expansions that had been made since my last visit. My grandchildren are all under 5 years old and they had a blast! A stroller is a must for small children, they... More
