Sorry for the delayed review! I took a tour with these guys on Feb 5 2022 and it was a stunning, breathtaking ride. A bittercold icy day and rough surface conditions, but we hit the trail and didn't look back until our hats were frosted over and we had a serious dose of scenic snow-covered mountain awe and back country quietude. These guys do not miss an opportunity to open it up on the trail, but they also respected the perfect spots for stopping to soak up a beautiful morning of winter, icicles on all the trees and all that stuff that you can only appreciate by getting way off the beaten path. My ride was so awesome I decided to look at a place right on the VAST and prob take up the hobby permanently. I hope these guys know they made another convert. I'll be back every year with friends and fam. thanks Snowmobile VT!!!

We had such an awesome experience! I If you are considering it, JUST DO IT! (especially if you're a thrill seeker/adventurist like us) My boyfriend and I were first timers, so we weren't sure what to expect: I highly recommend getting your own, its definitely worth the extra money. It was snowing pretty heavy on our drive up so we were a bit concerned about visibility but as soon as we got there we knew it was going to MAKE the experience. During the safety video he told us "it looks like Narnia out there right now" and he could not have been more accurate!! Mikey was our guide and we had so much fun with him! He took us through some straight aways so we were able to go fast, which was my favorite part! I forgot one of my gloves back at the hotel and I was able to borrow a pair through the lost and found, which was such a relief! The staff is awesome, big thank you to everyone! We will definitely return!

My wife was never on a snowmobile and always wanted to try it. Snowmobile Vermont was a perfect lucky pick for us. They make it so easy over the phone to make a reservation and when we showed up they could not be any nicer. We were lucky to be put in a group with just me and my wife and the tour guide Jeff could not be and nicer. Jeff knowing it was my wife’s first time he paid extra attention to her and made her feel so comfortable getting started. After the first hour we took a well needed break and Jeff gave my wife a few tips to make the tour even more enjoyable. Needless to say the second hour we were flying trough the trails like we were doing it for years.
First class operation, start to finish.

Thanks for the review. Jeff is one of our most sought after guides at Mount Snow. Glad your wife had so much fun.

We were very disappointed with our ride. we were barely going at the speed of 13-15 mph. One of the guys in our group was riding very slow and that ruined the entire experience. Mark would scare you to death and make you rent the ski suit for $16 per person although it wasn't that cold & we were no where near to the claimed speed of .45 mph

My husband and I, and another couple recently took the guided snowmobile tour through Snowmobile Vermont - it was more than we could have ever imagined!

First, the instructor who led our tour, Geoff White, was amazing. He was funny, very knowledgeable of the trail system and how to operate the snowmobile - he was the perfect tour guide and would highly recommend him.

The trails were perfect - we went from wide trails, to backwoods and even across the lake! I can't stress enough how cool the experience was for our whole group.

This was our second year in a row. I thought the main office location was easier than the Mt Snow office. Both times were great. A little slow at first. I guess some beginners needed to get use to the sleds. Guide and staff were very professional. We averaged about 25 mph and within a half hour we averaging about 35mph and peaked a few spots at about 55 mph. I highly recommend them. Sure you want to go really fast but it is a group and you still enjoy the ride.

VERY professional. The staff are thorough and efficient re confirmation emails. The location is easy to find. Short helpful safety video, and then out and onto the trails. Our guide was very thoughtful, stopping often enough to check in. The 2-hours felt a bit long, but that could be in-part to the very cold temperature that day.

The two hour tour was amazing. Our guide was great, we had so much fun but felt safe at the same time. I would highly recommend this place whether you’re experienced or riding a snowmobile for the first time. We will be back for sure.
This place has great reviews but it definitely exceeded our expectations.

The friendly competence of the staff cannot be overstated. A close second is the terrific educational video shown before going onto the snowmobiles. (That's why you have to show up 45 minutes in advance.) I don't want to minimize the high quality of the snowmobiles themselves, which is a place where cost-cutting could take place. The machines were new, easy to operate (In addition to heated grips, there was a separate control for the accelerator lever so one's thumb wouldn't get cold hanging off the grip :-)) and everything worked perfectly. That is not always the case with carbureted engines in the winter.

Great experience. We had 5 adults- 75-36 yO and 3 kids 10-6 yo. The orientation/start up process was smooth and quick and the people working there were super friendly and helpful. Our guide was outstanding. One of our kids was freezing and the guide gave up his coat! Superior customer service to no end! We went 2 separate times and both were fantastic!
