While we had a good time playing was very disappointed when we paid our bill and found out our reservation fee was for the ability to jump a non existent line. We don’t live in town and thought we would make a reservation so we could play. Didn’t mind paying $50 for the reservation thinking it was simply an assurance that you show up for your playing time (as hotels do when you reserve a room). This is not the case - the $50 is just to get you in the door. When asked we where told that it was a corporate policy and nothing they could do about it even though there was no wait list for the night we played. Again since we live out of town and we don’t have a TopGolf near us we would not have know about his reservation practice and honestly I have never come across anything like this practice. It has definitely left a sour taste about the business and their business practices. Sorry TopGolf - while you where fun I will take my business elsewhere.

I just got back from top golf for the first time visit. The websight says you get a top golf card which I did not and I like hitting there but the balls only registered half the time. The whole reason I went was to know how far each club goes. It seems to be way off and not consistent at all. It registered my piching wedge at 85 once and then 135 on the second hit and I hit almost the same spot. As far as my 3 wood and driver it did not register any hits and I was hitting the net at the back several times. I dont thinkI will go back for the price of what you get.

We had a nice time at Topgolf but buyer beware. You can only make a reservation online and the charge was $27, which I found out later that it goes towards nothing- it’s strictly for the pleasure of reserving your spot. Add to that $5 pp for quest play plus hourly fee for bay rental. Very disappointed this information was not provided up front while making the reservation. We won’t be back.

I visited Germantown TopGolf on Saturday April 20, 2024 at 9:30 PM. Myself and my date for only the 3rd time had a bay reserved for 9-11. The bay is reserved for $40 which was taken from my account within TopGolf. The bay was ready at 8:50 but unfortunately we were still at dinner. The ride was only going to take 15 minutes so no real rush. We arrived at 9:30 and checked in with the front desk and was advised to head to bay 321. Once arriving I went to put in my credentials but was alerted as a failed. After several attempts I retrieved a waitress who said I was 15 minutes late and had to go to the front desk. I advised her that is where I came from and they did something in the computer. She then copped an attitude and said she can’t do anything. Five minutes pass and she comes back and does something and now it works.
Now her attitude changes back to being a waitress and is nice and wants to know if we need anything. I ordered a beer and my date only water. Now it’s closing time and the attitude is back as worse and says I need to close tab and leave. It was only 10:50 and they close at 11:00?????? Well I get my bill and it’s $129.90 and I asked this for a beer and water? Well here comes the attitude again and she said “no” it’s that plus the time to play. I advised all previous times at other locations it was taken from my TopGolf app/account. Her response was deal with it at corporate.
Now this is where it gets worse. You can’t call only write. Well, that immediately tells me this isn’t going to go well. I wrote pretty much the same thing as I did here on Sunday morning at 4:40 AM. Received an email back at 5:41 PM stating someone would respond in 24 hours. I’ve responded at 48 and 96 hours without a response back. I believe the tactic like this is to hope you just go away. Well as you can see by this I’m not going away LOL.

We have done Top Golf a few times before but first time with our kids and a big group. 50 bucks for the bay per hour honestly with 6 is great value. The food was good and service was awesome. Can’t wait to get back!

Made a reservation online. Came at my designated time and they said there was no reservation. They said you can’t make reservations the same day but the website let me. I explained the whole process I went through and they definitely said they believed me but said they had to put me at the end of the line. Nothing they could do for me.

The friendliness and helpfulness was amazing. A very busy place but we still got in and enjoyed ourselves. I haven't golfed in years, but still had fun! Our family enjoyed our time together! The staff was great especially our waitress Molly who was there whenever we needed her. We thought the price was well worth it! Thank you!

What a great time! We have never been to a Top Golf, are not big golfers, but we loved it. We went with some teenagers, and they loved it. We opted to reserve a spot ahead of time, but I think we still could have gotten two bays next to each other and in with no wait. Food and service were also good.

We went on a Saturday afternoon to hit some balls with our niece who flies with Delta and was on a layover. The line to get a "tee time" must have had 20 people in it. After spending $5 for a membership (God only knows what that gets us) we then prepaid another $40 to play golf. This was for a 3 hour wait, but here's the good news. For a mere $50 we could move up to the front of the line! What a scam! The bar was packed with "sheeple" drinking while waiting their 3 hours for a turn to play. I've figured out their business plan. Soak people in the bar for hours while waiting for a time to play. Then charge crazy high prices to hit a golf ball. I'm sorry my wife paid the $40 because we now have to back to these crooks and play this scam all over again. No thanks to how you treat customers, and the shennagans you play with "memberships" and payments to move to the front of the line. How about building a facility large enough to accommodate your clientele?

There are several different settings or games you can choose from on the Top Golf screen. I went with some friends and was quite underwhelmed. The chip that monitors where the ball went is highly inaccurate! Also, it shows how far the ball carries but not how far it goes. Other metrics such as apex and ball speed are meaningless for golf. The height of the tee cannot be adjusted and this can be a major problem for someone who tees their ball higher...especially when paying $45 an hour. Something as basic as that should be adjustable. The person who came around for food or drink orders only came around once. Very poor service. They can't even get basic golf right, are overpriced, and had very poor service. I don't understand the allure of this place and will not return.

Nope, balls and clubs are provided! If you have favorite clubs you can bring, but plenty are in each bay for your use.

They have 'current' metal woods and matching irons. Not top of the line but not bad either. Or bring your own. And I think they have some to try/buy.

We have never been to this area and want to go for a 40th birthday weekend with a group of people to play at Topgolf. Some have been to a Topgolf and some have not. My question is...is there a hotel within walking distance? Is there Uber available to get around? Is there a certain hotel that is walking distance to a few bars/sports bars? Thanks!

Uber is easy...maybe a 3 to 5 minute ride to hotel...bars at 135th and nall area maybe 5 minutes tops...upscale area with no worries..."A loft" is a trendy hotel close too ..very nice place
