Oak Park Mall has lots of quality shopping choices. I try to shop there on weekdays when it is not so busy. I like parking under the canopy near Nordstrom's, especially in the summer. The carousel is a great attraction for children. My favorite stores are Macy's, Dillards, Sephora's, Nordstrom's and H & M. My favorite places to eat there are Nordstrom's Cafe or the Houlihan's in the mall's parking lot.

Went to the oak park mall just to see and let the girls ride the double decker carousel. We were not disappointed. Nice shopping mall with lots of options.

Over 50 years ago great enclosed shopping malls sounded the death knell for many downtown shopping venues. Over the past 15 years, or so, those very same malls have been shuttered and faced the wrecking ball. Oak Park Mall is one of the relatively few survivors of that former era of suburban shopping. The mall has held up well and has even been expanded within the past 10 years. It appears to be 90% occupied and not in danger of closing any time soon, though it was almost empty on a Wednesday evening in March, 2017. A couple of anchor tenants are Macys and Penney's and I'm not sure how much longer those stores will be open. I'm sure there's a point in the not too distant future when on-line shopping will grow to the point where it's going to become uneconomical to keep this mall open, so go now while you have the chance to see an almost full, large, enclosed shopping mall.

Everytime I go to this mall, I have to act like I am talking on my phone because the vendors in the middle practically attack you and want to give you free samples and then want to do their high pressured sells pitch. It is awful. So before going I plan where I want to shop and make sure I don't have to pass any of the vendors. If I have to go to stores other than close to where I park. I go back to my car and drive close to the other store. HOW RIDICULOUS IS THAT! So, basically, I just try to avoid the entire mall. I can shop other places where I won't be bombarded by this kind of practice! Just not a pleasant way to shop and something should be done about it!

I called the mall, asked around and even went to their office to ask where to get a wheelchair for a friend who has a broken foot and no answer! It is beyond embarrassing that a place like this does not have a service available.

Last time I ventured in for a daytime visit, I noticed how empty the mall was. When I found what I wanted and was checking out, I learned why. The clerk told me the mall had four separate incidences of robberies and car jackings in the first three weeks of that month. Although I've shopped at and loved this mall for more than 20 years, I simply don't feel safe and won't be back.

Great stores in the mall. It's the only mall in Kansas City. Be on the lookout for "panhandlers" in the mall as well as in the parking lot. I told one of the security guy's about several people "panhandling" in the mall, the guy said he would check it out. When we were leaving the same guy was in the parking lot hitting people up for money. Great stores, but if you need any help you are pretty much on your own!

This is a large shopping mall. You will find anything your heart wishes to have.
The management is OK, sometimes not very clean. Needs improvement.
Sometimes some not too desirable youth groups running around this mall.
I advice the management to be more careful with security. Many malls in the world have had problems with these "youth groups"...
Keep Overland Park, clean of these groups that bring NOTHING to the mall and problems for the shoppers.

The remodels have added little to the mall, I'm not much of a mall person anyway, there's been alot of crime over the past cpl years.Once rainforest cafe left, it's been going downhill.The food court has gotten boring.

This mall has been popular and nearly full of tenants for many years. It is well-kept and diverse with lots of great parking.

I would need to get an Uber Taxi to the mall, as I am on holiday here. Is there a guest WiFi to use, so I can be sure of getting my Uber back to where I am staying?
