Not much to say about the park. It is a small picnic area where my family had many reunions in years gone by.

The John Brown Memorial Park in Osawatomie is one of many sites that document and provide historic information about the man and his activities in eastern Kansas before heading east.

I love to get historical facts about Kansas and they delivered. We had two different guides and I could listen and read all day about it. I think every one would like it .

This is the park where the Adair cabin is located. They have various and assorted signs in the park that take you through a early battle from the beginnings of the Civil War. It's a pretty park with tons of trees.

It was quiet and so green! Loved the stone bridge. Very scenic. The children had LOTS of room to run and play. Enjoyed the information about John Brown as well, but the museum wasn't open while we were there.
