Our family stopped here on our way to Wilson Lake. It isn't a very big place but the history of the rocks was very interesting. The fact that you could touch the rocks and even climb on them made the experience even better! We stopped...More

This was a fun place for a walk about. Got there after hours, paid our fee in the drop box and spent about 30 minutes exploring.

We stopped here on our way through Kansas and was pleasantly surprised that we were encouraged to climb on the rocks and explore the area to our hearts content. It made me feel like a little kid again, but it wasn't quite worth the detour...More

Rock City is a great, local attraction. Kids love climbing on the rocks and photographers like the challenge of getting a unique shot. There are some minimally maintained walking paths that are fun for those who like to explore. Worth a stop.

We live fairly close to this park and it never gets old no matter how many times we visit. The gigantic rocks are always fascinating and fun to explore.

The reason why I found this so interesting is that Kansas is mostly flat. We have some hills but the fact that there are these huge random concrete rocks that stand up out of the ground just really in this one place is kind of...More

A neat little park. Had it all to myself, very mellow and serene with really neat rock formations. There is a small admission fee and a gift shop, however no one was there when I visited. Very nice to stroll across the green lawn amongst...More

This really is a cool little place off the beaten path. The rock formations are unusual, and the drive to them is scenic rural mid-west. Great family photo op, and very nice picnic spot. Anyone traveling through Kansas should stop here at least once.

I believe you can go all day. They have a charge but we went after hours and no one was there to collect the fee.
