Locked Manhattan is the first escape room adventure in Manhattan, Kansas. We are focused on providing an unforgettable adventure for all players. Our escape rooms are intricately designed through countless hours of research and planning. We are thrilled to be able to present a challenging, fun, and unique form of entertainment to Downtown Manhattan. The idea behind escape room games is that you and your friends are locked in a room which is filled with puzzles that will lead to your hopeful escape. You have one hour to investigate the room, piece together clues, and solve puzzles in order to find your way out. Escape rooms have grown in popularity worldwide and we are proud to bring Locked Manhattan to the downtown area. Excellent night out for something different to do! We had 4 couples, and I was the only one who had ever done an escape room before. It's hard to describe to those who haven't done one before what it's like. Other in my group were honestly not super excited about it but everyone ended up having a great time! We want to go back and try more rooms. We were just 2 or 3 minutes from escaping. Lol! 8 people ended up costing $50 per couple - some might think that is too much, but honestly, it was something to do, it got us out of the house, we got to spend time together, and something new most had never done before. (The only bad part - the bathroom was in strong need of a major cleaning - yikes!)

Ok, this wasn't something I thought I'd like. I don't necessarily like puzzles that I cannot solve. We took two teams in from our staff and I had more fun than I ever thought possible. It helped that we were a bunch of "take charge" ladies, so everyone just gravitated to what they could accomplish best, but together, we made it out of the room. Our other team wasn't quite as lucky, but there were down a couple of people, last-minute. I'd highly recommend this as a team-building exercise for people working together. We had 5 people, which seemed to be perfect.

Our experience was truly an adventure. The escape room that we did (The Witching Hour) was challenging, but not so much that it felt hopeless. We had a great time and were within two steps of escaping the room, with only two of us working on it, so completion is definitely attainable. I would highly recommend Locked Manhattan!

Locked Manhattan always delivers. From inventive themes to clever puzzles, their rooms always surprise and delight. And their staff could not be any nicer. Stella, the game guide, and Jessica, one of the owners, have always been so sweet to me when booking and playing the games. My friends and I have driven out from KC three separate times to play their games and whenever we hear they are opening up another one, we make a point to head out and do it. A guaranteed hour of fun to be had!

We attended a locked event (Da Vinci) as a birthday celebration. Our family if 5 plus a friend was just the right number of guests. I was concerned about Covid exposure, so I called ahead and was pleased with the protocol.
Our group found this challenging and escaped with seconds to spare. It was great for team building. My only criticism would be that it would have been nice to have 90 minutes instead of sixty, particularly in light of the cost.

I took 5 middle school age kids to this and we had a blast (3 boys and 2 girls) one afternoon in August. One had never done an escape room and the other 4 had only tried one. At this time, when it is hard to find cognitively stimulating things for kids to do this was a great find. We finished with 45 seconds to spare. The person working was very attentive. At one point we had figured out a code and the lock was just a little bit stubborn so we thought we were wrong but she interjected and told us we were right. I appreciated that she was alert and thoughtful. I don't think this would have been as great as it was without her paying attention to us. We will absolutely do this again.

The attention to detail and craftsmanship of the room we booked was amazing! Well planned and thought out challenges. We did Exit Strategy with a group of 4 (3 adults and a child) and everyone loved it. Fun for all ages. Will definitely go again!

My fiancé and I decided to end our date night by testing our wits. Even though we did not succeed is escaping we had a lot of fun and even came surprisingly close with just the two of us. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have a night of fun, and laughter

We've had a good experience at Locked in the past so we were excited to do another room together as a family over the holiday. We were a bit disappointed in Leonardo's Last. Some puzzles were not set correctly so we got access to a key early that we didn't have to solve a puzzle for. The ending was very abrupt with the door opening and no reveal as to what happened with Leonardo daVinci. We solved it in 40 minutes.

I've done two rooms at Locked Manhattan and both experiences were awesome. Each time I did an escape room, I was in a group of four (two couples). The rooms were challenging and fun. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend Locked Manhattan.

We had four people for the Witching Room, which I believe is designed for small group. We could have easily had 6 people in there. Once you figure out some clues, two more smaller rooms open up.
looking at arriving in town on 5th June thru the 10th.do we need to call and make reservations?
