Way more than just grass and hills -- explores the habitats, both human and animal and the floral. Was overall enjoyable. Make sure the theater is up and running before you go, it scheduled for some remodeling and the theater is the main attraction.

Decent first floor local history and wildlife. Would be best for kids over five. Second floor "dinosaur" stuff was not worth it. It is basically just a video game where you are the dinosaur. If you have some extra time go, but I wouldn't go...More

There is not enough space here to list 'what is there' but when you visit the Discovery Center you'll find more than enough things to keep you occupied and interested.

Has anyone visited the Flint Hills Discovery Center in Manhattan? I had never heard of it until I recently received an e-mail from the Kansas Tourism Dept.
